Hey Ben. How would you get shy kids, to come out of their shell? I've got 2 new players and they are quiet and very shy. Thanks mate
Hey Michael! I find that they come out of their shell to you before a group of kids. Learn about them, ask them what they like, what games they play, who they support. Have conversations that interest them and try to get them to tell you about stuff they wanna talk about. It can take a long time for kids to feel comfortable in a new environment but you are the stepping stone between them and the other kids! Over the next few sessions try to find out things about them. I do a simple thing where every time the kids go for a drink I say “everyone go get a drink and when you comeback I want you to know who the new players favourite player/team/position is” it sparks conversations and will break the ice a little for new players

Hey Michelle! You can get creative and come up with your own! A few of our favourites are:
Counter attack goal
One touch finish
Free kick goal
Penalty goal
3/5/7 pass move (depends on ability)
Through ball goal (must be passed into the attacking third)
Volley Goal
Weak foot goal
i added a goal by youngest teammate and 10 won 1vs1 and 10 one2 passes
