I was on this ride a few days back and I was a little scared, but it was awesome. This would be my favorite part of the tour

At least they did eventually add a new animatronic Kong based off of Skull Island.

MrCliffda3rd too bad its basically the same thing except without the rest of the tour supporting it, just animatronics that don't do shit. A disapointing ride. Especially compared to Kongfrontation.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong in Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando is better. The King Kong ride in IOA is longer because the story of the ride is extended and there are more screens and special effects, and at the end of the ride there is a King Kong animatronic and it’s huge and so life like. I would definitely ride the one in Orlando.
I wouldn’t say that ride but this ride would be a lot better even thought it is indeed shorts it has a lot more intense and was my childhood
Another reason why Skull Island Reign Of Kong is better than this is because there’s music playing when Kong fights the dinosaurs in this there’s no music playing at all but I still like this version Reign Of Kong is better but like I said this version is still pretty cool

So Kong just leaves you there stranded on some cliff? They should've atleast have you magically transport back to the real world so the transition of the screens shutting off isn't as jarring to one's immersion.

Kimberley Campbell this call the studio tour it's a 45 minute to an hour ride I say because there's a lot of filming and tram traffic, it's worth going on the ride has fun surprise in each corner. It in universal studios Hollywood only

no this is in universal studios Hollywood in the studio tour,and this opened in 2010
This opened on July 1st, 2010 after the old Kong attraction was destroyed in a fire on June 1st, 2008.

PlayStation and Oculus spent millions and now they see this and realize they did it wrong lol.
This is real potential to VR Rooms, and don't need VR Headset.
The whole room is full of screens ceiling and all and the door to display a different world.
And you're wearing a suit for sensors.
Can use wireless controller or sensors weapon and remotes.
But this is potential.

I remember going on this ride and the kong part just ended, there was a kid around 10 years old crying to his parents asking what happened to those people, mean while his parents are trying to tell him it was just in the screen. I could not stop laughing XD
