I stopped shopping at Hobby Lobby for this very reason. This company not only refused to offer appropriate healthcare for their female employees, they bragged about it. While they, most likely, have not noticed the loss of my business, I have a clear conscience.
It would be a good idea if someone could make a list of big companies (ones who have no "it's expensive" excuse) which treat women in general, LGBTQ+ and other minorities badly. Let people know how they act, and lead boycotts of their goods (where possible; minimal interaction when it's not possible to boycott and get what you need to live). I'd do it but I'm not American, so there's no reason why you should listen to me. But hitting companies in their pocketbooks, so to speak, is usually the quickest way to get things done!
I lived in California for 38 years but had to move back to Ohio for family reasons, what a culture shock. it is so hard to put up with characters like J.D. Vance in this part of the country ,there are so many of them. Ohio has a few good in government, Senator Brown here is great.

I am a post menopausal grandmother. @@IndianaJake There might not be a *law* against it, afaik, but that didn't stop doctors from flat-out refusing to do it until I got medically recognized as nonbinary and could get a hysterectomy as gender-affirming surgery. It doesn't matter how much you want elective sterilization if doctors think you're a woman and you don't already have a bunch of kids. They'll insist that you'll change your mind (or, more importantly, your husband might change *his* mind) later and refuse to do it.

I am a post menopausal grandmother. NOW facts....The election for Governor of Georgia was questionable when it came down to Abrams and Kent. Georgia has DONE EVERYTHING it can to remove voters from rolls, closing polling locations within the Black community. Stacey has been fighting the good fight in trying to uphold and strengthen our right to vote.
I live in Georgia. It’s the REPUBLICAN legislature that passes those restrictive laws! I’ve now been thrown off voting polls twice! I’m from a very blue state…Hawaii. There you register ONCE for mail-in ballots and then you get ballots for every election!
