Thanks for the uploads! With all that guessing the answers just from the choices, I can see why they moved to only showing the categories to the home viewers. Loved this show, except for the far inferior bonus round they used later in the run.
I don't know if we'll find any episodes with the same Stephen who went on to play against the immortal Neil Bines. But regardless, thanks for posting these, Adam.
I'm pretty sure this is because that part of the show took too long originally so to shorten it they had already had some come out of the chute during the commercial break.
This is from the week of 6/28-7/2/1993 as the Love she Sought movie that was to air on "Monday" aired on 7/5/1993 in its encore presentation on NBC. The episode before this Adam posted aired on either July 1 or July 2 given the Bon Jovi episode of John and Leeza aired on July 2nd, ergo I think the first episode Adam posted is from July 1 and this from July 2
Thank goodness he said Peter Marshall and John Davidson but not Jon Bauman in the Hollywood Squares question. He was one of the hosts for The Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour but we don't like to talk about that.
Really poor preparation on the behalf of the showrunners here...a Tom Selleck question soon followed by his name as a puzzle answer. That's seriously poor on their part.
Sweet! Thanks for sharing so much with us, Adam. All that time converting, editing, and uploading. You're awesome!
Always like to spread the game show love, you're welcome!

There were a good 10 or so letters already out of the chute before they showed us the bonus balls. Odd.

@@hostsathome7390 exactly, not an uncommon practice, probably what eventually lead to them changing the bonus game later on.
Adam was 17 in 2001 on alt.tv.game-shows or so, ergo he was about nine when he recorded this.
Hello Adam I think this aired on the regular NBC network :)
Janice did good. 😀👍
