How on earth that hasn’t happened to me I have no idea. Never even realised there were two aperture rings until now! Probably because the blades are oily as shit and I never use it.
1st off - your channel deserves 1000x times the views youbare getting!! Your presentation and storytelling is great! My Zenit TL was so broken, I made a table lamp out of it. The Helios 44M lens I got with it is bokeh-lovrly, but unfortunately seldom sharp. It is only really sharp 2-4m from the subject. So I seldom use it. Great look though. It sucks to have gear 'fail' with film, cuz it is so expensive! I have recently had the biggest film fail... will be posting at some point. Can't wait for your next video! I have a Hanimex 135mm with thqt 2 aperture rings... it is cool for video running and gunning, but not for pics.
Wow thanks so much, that really means a lot!! Especially coming from an experienced fellow TH-cam creator like yourself 🙏 Haha that's certainly on usage scenario worth considering. My Zenit is probably not quite bad enough (yet) but I do have other bodies that would make great desktop accessories. Yeah I know, right! You can almost feel your bank account getting lighter for each shutter cycle.. and when things go wrong it's downright painful! Upside is that it can make for a great story, so eventhough I'm sorry to hear about your recent film fail, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happened in your video about it. Cheers buddy!
So... which photo was your favorite? The blurry one? 😅
