my problem when i open driver door the dome light off also indicator on dashboard, but other doors works just fine, i replace the door switch still the same, is there any fuse related to it or i have to dig in the wires looking for issue, my car accord 2005 sedan, thanks buddy
my door light is on all the time with the doors closed, i push sensor in ,it doesnt make any difference..could this be sensor .lights on all the time runs down the battery..many thanks
Hello Tony! In that case, you might have a bad switch for that door. Check for broken wires to that door and might just be at that for and not anywhere else. Take well care Tony!

What if the wire is already getting the ground? Even if I remove the wire from the switch. What could be the problem then?

I have a 99 crown victoria, and the right rear door won't activate the dome light.
