I submitted my OCI form A & Form B but it looks like I crossed my number of limits to submission Of My documents. And now if I try to check my status of the application it not recognize my file number. With my file number I can only able to log in in re upload documents section. But it doesn’t tell which documents I need to re upload. I tried to pay fees on line but it not let me log in because that link not recognize my login information.
Are work permit visa and H1B visa one and the same? And what's eligibility to apply for I-140? For How long one should have H1B visa to be eligible to apply for I-140?
Hi Apoorva, I guess I had a unique question. We (I & my spouse) went for H1/H4 Visa interview. At the interview location, the visa officer told us our visas were approved. Two days later we received my wife's passport with H4 stamp. However, I received mine without the H1 stamp and with a 221(g) for additional administrative processing. We have a situation and want my wife to fly out before me. Would you know if that would be possible ?

Yes u can. My wife got an H1B visa. Daughter and I applied for H4 along with my wife. We went to interview together, got H4 stamped along with H1B. All this happened in India.

I got married recently - My wife is an H1B visa holder and residing in the US. As a spouse I am eligible already to apply for H4(spouse visa) which I already have the appointment next month (April). At the same time, my company is willing to process for an L1 visa(intra company). Question: 1. is it okay to have different visa? ill be attending to my appointment for h4 visa on march. Then Ill let my company do the works for L1. Will it have any conflict or problem? I am planning to cancel h4 and just go with L1. However, the agreement with the company is still not set in stone - reason that Ill still continue my h4 appointment.
