We had about a month without rain here in Northeast Ohio and I am not finding many Japanese Beetles on my plants. Perhaps it was too dry for the beetle grubs at just the right time?
You are supposed to cut off the leaves as soon as they start to show the infection and toss. Sprays don't work great because they don't stick to the leaves. 🙂🪴🏵🌻
My hostas are huge and I'm thinking about taking them out completely. I have a small garden and they're outgrowing most of the other plants. I never knew hostas could grow that big

My blooms get so heavy and hang to the ground. I love all your shade areas. Your hostas look slug-free. Those tiarellas are so striking. It has been great. I staked some new growth this year to grow some added height. Probably about 6 inches a year... 🙃💮🌷🌸

It was just a couple of vigoro brand rudbeckia from home depot and they didn't have a variety on the tag. 🤪☘️⚘️🪷

I have my annabelle under trees so it does not droop, but I do use a cage from Gardeners Supply for a couple others and they work great! 🥰🏵🪷🌻
