Glad to see you added some color to the garden instead of everything being just all green. Your front garden bed in the picture is my favorite. Hope you continue to keep adding colors.
Good late evening Soleil! Your garden is looking fantastic. The hydrangeas are wonderful this year. Ours are looking fabulous as well. The limelight’s are slowly starting to turn pink So pretty. Love your brunneras. Mine are filling out. It has been too hot so I will wait to plant them in the ground til it cools off a bit. Enjoy your evening. 🌺🌿💚
So beautiful garden!!! Love to watch one video by one. And it's interesting how you clean garden in autumn))))). Because it's my autumn problem))))) Thanks a lot
I enjoy all your garden tours because there is so much beauty to see and you share so much good information about various plants. What you said about the early drought affecting the mosquito population got me thinking. We had about a month without rain here in Northeast Ohio and I am not finding many Japanese Beetles on my plants. Perhaps it was too dry for the beetle grubs at just the right time?
I so much enjoy your garden tours. Your flowering plants are amazing! On a future tour could you identify the non-flowering small shrubs in your garden. Their different textures add a lot to your landscape. I am also learning to appreciate foliage as much as flowers. Although I am in zone 8b in the Pacific Northwest, my little shade garden has many of the same plants. I’m looking forward to your next video tour.
Your gardens are looking amazing for almost the beginning of August! Hydrangeas add so much this time of year! Can you tell me if you have to prop up your Annabelle? My blooms get so heavy and hang to the ground. I love all your shade areas. Your hostas look slug-free. Those tiarellas are so striking. I just recently discovered your channel and am so enjoying seeing your videos.
My hostas are huge and I'm thinking about taking them out completely. I have a small garden and they're outgrowing most of the other plants. I never knew hostas could grow that big
So beautiful!! Question: I purchased a couple of Weeping Norway Spruce trees and when doing some research online to know where/how to plant them one of your videos popped up, it was from April 2021. I see the tree in this video at approximately 15:30. Can you please tell me how much it has grown for you since planting it and if you have had any problems with it? Thank you.
@@Suburbanoasis Thank you for telling me about your staking the tree, that was very helpful. And thank you for always taking the time to answer my question.
You are supposed to cut off the leaves as soon as they start to show the infection and toss. Sprays don't work great because they don't stick to the leaves. 🙂🪴🏵🌻
Lovely garden ❤ about 18 minutes in you called a plant a rippled "vergina" maybe. I loved it, what was the name of it. I couldn't find anything under what I thought you said. Thanks
LOVELY, as usual, Soleil !!! Can you make a video of how to prune your shrubs into a tree form? (I've got a rose-of-sharon I'm working on). Little bunnies are so darn cute, but...mine has nipped at the base of my coneflowers and just left them there - stem, bud and all. Really????
Hi. Glad to see just you as your new introduction instead of the music.
All I can say is gorgeous,gorgeous,gorgeous ❤

Another great tour! At 22:25 you had the perfect shot lined up with the sun! Then you cut away. 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your garden!!!

I think that is definitely a possibility as the drought had a big impact on many animals and insects. Thanks for watching! 🙃🌼🌸🪻
Your garden is absolutely gorgeous! I love how your rocks trimthe edges! Your flowers are beautiful!
Thank you so much!🤗🌺🌼🌻
I love your garden So much, im making sure to try some of your plants here in TX...thanks

Great idea! I will try to talk about that in the future! 🥰🪴🌻🌸
Gaura is another one!
Very Beautiful😍
Such beautiful flower beds you have, just awesome!! Can I ask, where do you get all of your rocks to outline your flower beds?
From farmers and Facebook marketplace mostly! Gathered over many years. 😀🌺🌲🪴

I have my annabelle under trees so it does not droop, but I do use a cage from Gardeners Supply for a couple others and they work great! 🥰🏵🪷🌻
My hostas are huge and I'm thinking about taking them out completely. I have a small garden and they're outgrowing most of the other plants. I never knew hostas could grow that big
It depends on the variety. There are minis as well as giant
Topiary is awesome! Could you name your hosta varieties in a tour sometime?
Thank you! 🤗🌼🌻🌿
Amazing,
So beautiful!! Thank you.
It has been great. I staked some new growth this year to grow some added height. Probably about 6 inches a year... 🙃💮🌷🌸
@@Suburbanoasis Thank you for telling me about your staking the tree, that was very helpful. And thank you for always taking the time to answer my question.
At 32 min what are the lavender flowers and te pinkish red flowers beside the lavender ones? It’s all a beautiful combination.
There are three different blooms that I think you are looking at. Liatris in the back, powwow wildberry coneflower and millennium allium. 😍🌷🌸🌻
Hi Solei what is the name of the purple potatoe vine?
I got rid of the tag, but if you want I know I talked about what it was in the video where I plant them in the containers! 🥰🍀🪴🏵
I like your tomato cages. Where did you get them?
Gardeners supply company! 🤗🌼🌸🌷
We’re your edging rocks on your property or did you have to buy them? I really enjoy your videos and love your gardens.
Thank you. I have gathered the rocks over years voa neighbors and Facebook marketplace and farmer. 🤗🌴🌼🌻
My iris foliage always does that after blooming every year. If you have a solution please let me know. I just thought that was normal.
You are supposed to cut off the leaves as soon as they start to show the infection and toss. Sprays don't work great because they don't stick to the leaves. 🙂🪴🏵🌻
I’m in zone 6A and I have no luck with the Scabiosa. What’s your secret!
Really good drainage? 🙃☘️⚘️🌸
How do you mow beside your rock border?
We mow closely and then use the string trimmer. 🥰🌹🌼💐
Can you tell me the variety of the rudbeckia that’s in your backyard? It’s beautiful and I would love to put that in my garden.
It was just a couple of vigoro brand rudbeckia from home depot and they didn't have a variety on the tag. 🤪☘️⚘️🪷
Thanks for the info, I have a Home Depot near so I’ll definitely be on the lookout for it.
Is that a buckthorn in the background at the beginning of the video. Is it easy care?
I do have a Buckthorn and it is very low maintenance. I do nothing to it! 😀🌸☘️💐
I edited my comment and not sure if you saw this. Could you please go through your hosta varieties sometime?
Hi there, there is a video I did a last year in the play lost about hostas, heucjeras and pulmonarias where I share most of the varieties! 🤗🌼🌷🌸
Lovely garden ❤ about 18 minutes in you called a plant a rippled "vergina" maybe. I loved it, what was the name of it. I couldn't find anything under what I thought you said. Thanks
That was a rippled bergenia! 😊
Thank you
👍👍!👍👍!👍👍!

Great suggestion! Rabbits have done the same to any of my coneflower in the back garden. 🫣🌷🪻☘️
