Absolutely beautiful. The hydrangeas are the stars. I like them planted throughout your garden beds. The other flowers add a colorful note to the pop of white of the hydrangeas. I hope you make another video when the panicle hydrangeas turn pink.
You have perfected growing in your environment, everything looks so healthy and happy and beautiful. I appreciate when you said about researching on you tube if the stuff will do well in your garden I do the same, thank you so the inspo😊💐
Beautiful garden, you are doing so well. Can you show us how you trimmed your limelight hydrangea where it is slim enough for small spaces. You mentioned you trim them on the bottom, then added a stick in the middle. How do you cut them where the leaves stay full all the way down to the ground. I have a small garden and would love to do this.❤
@cymunsworld6256 Hugs and kisses for considering. I know making videos are not an easy task, and I love the look of the way you did yours. Yours are perfect and I could fit that size throughout my small garden. I will be on the lookout, and thank you again.

@@cymunsworld6256 I have deer as well in my area, but my dog does a good job of chasing them off. She has a dog door that she can come in and out of whenever she wants.
I don't have drip irrigation. I water them with hose. I water them every other day but if it's too hot I do it every day. I water them in the bottom of the bush.
@@cymunsworld6256 I had a lot of trouble watering my plants because I have clay soil and most of the water would just run away from the plant and not reach the root ball. So I installed drip irrigation and everything seems much happier now. Your garden is so beautiful. I hope to one day come close to achieving what you have with my own garden.
We also have red clay soil. It's getting better now because of much. We mulch our garden every spring ang fall. As time goes by our soil now is very rich.... with chicken manure every spring.
Thank you. Yes I did propagate some, and I also purchased some. All of my limelights started with one bush. I actually gave limelights to my friends. Panicle hydrangeas are easy to propagate. You stick them on the ground and they will grow.
I like your garden. If you cut the hydranges back they wouldn't be so tall and floppy. strawberry sunday should be large but more bushy, thus from cutting back closer.
I’m also in 7a and I’m also obsessed with hydrangeas 😊. Your hydrangeas should not be turning brown. They should get color. When they turn brown it’s because they don’t get enough water. When the flowers open, they need more water than when it was just leaves. So when there isn’t enough, the plant has to make a choice, keep the leaves alive or the flowers. This is why they turn brown. Give extra water till fall and you’ll have beautiful pink color in fall.
Limelight and other panicle hydrangea need cool nights to turn pink. If they don't reach a certain nighttime temperature they will not turn pink. Just brown regardless of the watering situation.
@@cashlei5740 yes I know that but my point was that her and I are in the exact same planting zone (7a) so if I get those cool temps, because my hydrangeas do turn pink, so does she. That means it’s not due to the lack of temperature change, it’s the watering situation. I’ve had that happen so I was just sharing my experience. I’ve had one hydrangea’s flowers turn brown while the rest turn pink. And it was because I wasn’t meeting its watering needs. When the flowers open, it needs more water to support them or they turn brown.
