ഈ ഷോർട് ഫിലിം ഒരു 2.3 വർഷം മുന്നേ കണ്ടതാണ് ഇന്ന് ചുമ്മാ ഒന്ന് കൂടെ കാണാമെന്നു നോക്കിയപ്പോ വെറും 1m വ്യൂസ് കണ്ടപ്പോ സങ്കടം തോന്നി. ഇത്രക്കും കിടിലൻ ഒരു ഷോർട് ഫിലിം എങ്ങനെ ഇത്രക്ക് മോശം ആയി.

അത് കണ്ടാല്‍ മനസിലാകും ഇതു മുഴുവന്‍ കോപ്പി ആണെന്ന്
പിന്നെ 1958 ചെയ്ത പോലെ ചെയ്യാന്‍ പറ്റാത്ത കൊണ്ട് പുതിയ scenes add ചെയ്തു അന്നല്ലാതെ ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ഇതില്‍ പ്രതേകിച്ചു ഒന്നും ചെയ്തില്ലെന്ന് ആ ഷോര്‍ട്ട് ഫിലിം കണ്ട മനസിലാകും

പഴയകാല ചിത്രം "കാലം" , K.R.വിജയ എന്ന നടി പ്രധാന വേഷം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്ത "കാലം" എന്ന ചിത്രം കാണാത്തവര്‍ക്ക് ഇതൊരു വ്യത്യസ്ഥ അനുഭവം തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കും.
ഈ ചിത്രം ഒരു ന്യൂജന്‍ "കാലം" ആയിട്ടാണ് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത്.
Grace villa യുടെ camera work ഒരു രക്ഷയുമില്ല അടിപൊളി ആയിരുന്നു , പിന്നെ bgm and actors എല്ലാം കിടു.
തുടര്‍ന്നും ഇത് പോലുളള ത്രില്ലര്‍ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

എത്രാമത്തെ തവണയാണ് വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും കാണുന്നതെന്നറിയില്ല.. എല്ലാ മേഖലയിലും പൂർണതയോടുകൂടി കണ്ട മറ്റൊരു ഷോർട്ഫിലിം ഇതല്ലാതെ വേറെയില്ല.. ഒരു സിനിമയായി കാണാൻ ഒരുപാട് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു..
"ഗ്രേസ് വില്ല" അതിഗംഭീരമായിരിക്കുന്നു. അവസാനനിമിഷത്തിലെ ആ ട്വിസ്റ്റുണ്ടല്ലോ...

മനസ്സിൽ തോന്നിയത് തുറന്നേ എഴുതുന്നു.
ആദ്യം ആകർഷിച്ചത് cinematography ആയിരുന്നു. സസ്പൻസ് ചിത്രങ്ങൾ കണ്ട്, സാധാരണ സസ്പൻസുകൾ ക്ലൈമാക്സിന് മുൻപ് മനസ്സിൽ കിട്ടാറുണ്ട്..പക്ഷേ, ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൻ്റെ സസ്പൻസിന് യാതൊരു ധാരണയും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.ഒരുപക്ഷേ അതൊന്നും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല..ശ്രദ്ദിക്കാൻ സംവിധായകൻ അവസരം തന്നില്ല..'Brillant' execution brothers.Spellbound

പണ്ട് ദൂരദർശനിൽ രാത്രി' സംഭവങ്ങൾ 'എന്ന പരുപാടി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഒരു ഹിന്ദി പ്രേത സീരിയൽ അയിരുന്നു. ഒരു കഥ രണ്ടു എപ്പിസോഡ് അയി കാണിക്കുമായിരുന്നു . അതിൽ ഞാൻ ഇന്നു ഓർത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കഥയാണിത്. നടന്ന സംഭവം ആണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. ഒരു അധോലോക സംഘം ഒരു ബാങ്ക് കൊള്ള അടിക്കുന്നു അതിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ രക്ഷപെടുന്നു ഒരുത്തൻ പണവുമായി വീട്ടിൽ ചെല്ലുന്നു അവനെ അ വീട്ടിൽ വെച്ച് കൊല്ലുന്നു പക്ഷ പണം മാത്രം കിട്ടുന്നില്ല വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞു കൊലയാളി പണം അനേഷിച്ചു അ വീട് വാങ്ങാൻ വരുമ്പോൾ അയാളെ വിഷം കൊടുത്തു കൊല്ലുന്നു. അവർ അത് രണ്ട് മണിക്കൂർ കൊണ്ട് കാണിച്ചത് ഇവിടെ 14 മിനിറ്റ് കൊണ്ട് കാണിച്ചു. എന്നാണേലും നല്ലതായിരുന്നു. നല്ല രീതിയിൽ എടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട് ഗുഡ്.

"Alfred Hitchcock Presents" എന്ന ടെലിവിഷൻ പരമ്പരയിലെ (season 3, Episode 23, 1958) ഡോൺ ടെയിലർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത "The Right Kind of House" എന്ന എപിസോഡിന്റെ മലയാളം വേർഷനല്ലേ ഇത്. ഷോർട്ട് ഫിലിമിന്റെ അവസാനമെങ്കിലും കഥാകാരന് (Henry Slesar) ക്രഡിറ്റ് കൊടുത്തത് നന്നായി. ഇൻസ്പിരേഷൻ എന്നതിനേക്കാൾ ഇതിനെ ഇതിപ്പോ കോപ്പിയടി എന്ന് പറയേണ്ടിവരും.
എന്തായാലും ഷോർട്ട് ഫിലിം മോഷമാക്കിയില്ല. കഥ അറിയാമായിരുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് ത്രില്ലടിച്ചില്ല. പാർവതിയുടെ അഭിനയം അസലായി, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ചില മെെന്യൂട്ട് ഡീറ്റയിൽസ് ഇൻ ഹെർ എക്സ്പ്രഷൻസ്. സുജോയ് ഘോഷിന്റെ "അഹല്യ" യുടെ കളർ ടോണും അതേപടി പകർത്തിയപോലെ തോന്നി. വെറുതെയെങ്കിലും ആ ചിത്രത്തെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തി.
Yeah.. exact copy... no harm in copying. but they could have present it as a remake of "The Right kind of house" - Inspiration is the new name of eechacopy. Saw thanks to Amal neerad in the first slide. :D
