This for me the best Thai BL series this year. For those who want to know the Khun Yai at the end is not the one from the past. He is an ancestor who is a reincarnation of Khun Yai, Kanthorn Yai. He is the nephew of the grand daughter of Khun Lek (Khun Yai's younger brother). She was the woman who insisted that Jom get the key to the chest. This is Yai's third life. Commander Yai being the first as seen in the post credit scene (which sets up season 2). He remembers all the memories of his past lives being with Jom. The special episode we are getting is a story on its own by the looks of it as its the Khun Yai coming from the past to present day. I hope this helps.

Correct. In the novel I believe she complains about the house having issues renovating it and talks to present yai and gives him the buisness card that has jom’s picture on it. He has all the dreams of yai and lord yai . I’m sure we will see more explained . I’m excited! Cause the relationship between lord yai and jom was so different and fun! Can’t wait!

The story! The acting! This series is beautiful and masterfully done! Nonkul and Bright made the love between Yai and Jom believable. I cannot think of a love scene more beautiful than the ones in this series. For me, best BL of year! I cried rivers over this episode.
I cannot watch EP12 without crying..so i have to have tissues by my side 😭 The reincarnated Khun Yai (Kanthorn Palathip) at the end has all past memories of Warrior Yai and Khun Yai. So he remembers Jom (that's why Jom smiled when Yai said my blessing Jom - cause he used the words that Khun Yai always say). Yai Kanthorn in the novel is much older than Jom (29 yrs old i think) so he is more mature than Jom now. I'm just happy they are reunited at last.
The one who appeared in the end to meet Jom at Palathip House is Yai Kanthorn. He is the reincarnation of Khun Yai. Yai Kanthorn is Khun Lek's Grandson. Khun Lek is Khun Yai's little brother who asked Jom to draws Hope (the piglet)

One of the best series this year. The best scene for me is on the bed where they were emotionally and physically were saying goodbye to each other. It was so sincere and the acting was phenomenal ❤and Tita I really laughed at your comments about you not baring Yai’s mustache in season 2😂😂

From a Thai fan, I would like to explain about the current Khun Yai. He is Khun Yai from a past life, died and then the spirit came back to be the Khun Yai of the present. And he remembered everything about Jom.
Yes! Like how the characters from Jom’s present were there in the past- reincarnation.
I didn't start crying until the underwater scene. Yes it was beautiful. This grandma loved this drama I can't wait for the 2nd season. I love these historical type dramas. Yes the mustache might be the comic relief in the series. I 2nd about the negative content. Thank you for having reactions I can watch 😊

Such a beautiful series. One of my all time favorites! The actors were phenomenal and the cinematography gorgeous! According to the novel, the current Khun Yai is the heir who inherited the wealth from the Khun Yai of the past. He then remembered his past life and dreamed of Jom as well. and hire home improvements.
If there is a part 2 according to the novel, Jom will have to go back in time to the era of a warrior named Khun Yai before returning to the present. Because a warrior is the beginning of love. Why do you love me? Even though we just met for the first time I've loved you since I met you. And the warrior made a promise. No matter how long it takes, I will love only Jom.

Well I can say for sure after watching so many bl’s this is the best I’ve seen. From the production, story, and acting it was truly a masterpiece. You rooted for them from the very beginning and fell in love the first time they saw each other. We cried so many times through this series for their happiness and devastation. They explained throughout the series in small amounts about reincarnation so I’m guessing that’s what happened here. This episode was so beautifully written and destroyed me! Obviously no one likes the mustache lol. But it comes apparent that things aren’t complete and there has to be a reason jom has to go to lord yai. I read the novel and I’m excited to see this version of the story! The special episode may be confusing for some. It has nothing to do with the storyline I’m told. It was made strictly for fans. Thank you so much forgoing all the hassles to bring this to us. It is so appreciated! Love you!

This is amazing series the best emotional, sadness, true love and beautiful feelings i ever meet. I love the story to Khun Yai and Jom for be warm, sincered and the sesation that left when you saw every episode, the chemistry is lovely. Lives forever this love sweet and pure that never dies, in my heart always stay.

Actually, P' Tee (the director of IFYLA) posted on Twitter that there is still no plan for SS2 yet because it gonna be really hard work and he has to talk with many people in order to make SS2. So, not yet.
But Nonkul(Jom) and Bright(Khunyai) and other actors also want SS2 too, so, Nonkul said we gonna meet again in SS2 😂
They better get to work. The people want season 2 damn it!!

EP12 also has end credits. Jom go back in time to the Ayutthaya period. Then he went to meet Khun Yai, who was a warrior.
Thank you Tita Josie for an awesome finale reaction! This series was truly a joy to watch these past few weeks. I must say that the final intimate scene between Jom and Khun Yai was really profound. While the flashbacks were playing, you could hear, sense and feel all the love and longing without seeing the actual act. That was really creative! Looking forward to the special episode and season 2. Excellent work from the production house and the actors!

I Love this series. You need to find the post credit scene (it’s out there on some unblocked region sites) when I watched this episode (bawling through that traumatic letter reading scene) And one of the most beautifully desperately sad lovemaking scenes I’ve ever watched. Like the way they filmed that?! Was touching. I like that they left audio, but changed the visual to memories like they were trying to imprint those on each other. (Weird that That’s what made me blush and not the more Shown NC scenes 😅) anyhow. The ending confused me so badly, and then the after credit. I was ready to fight someone if Jom didn’t get to be with Yai. So I went and read the book. Season 2 is going to be fire, but probably not as long since there isn’t as much detail in part 2 and I don’t feel he was in that time as long as the turn of the century one. But lord, that mustache. Please let’s get rid of that because I can’t take Yai seriously with it on and his character is a pretty powerful soldier of his people.
@lisatobleman7318 i agree. The desperately sad lovemaking scene was the most beautiful love scene I’ve ever seen in any genre. It was made more impactful by having the sounds of the couple together while showing flashbacks. The actors did an absolutely amazing job of depicting their love and sorrow. Breathtaking scene!

I cried with you too🥹 I felt the characters's profound love and chemistry, their pain and suffering. I hope I don't have to wait long for season 2. It hurts my heart just thinking about Khun Yai's loneliness and suffering. Watching the years go by without his beloved and not knowing how many lifetimes he was going to go through before they could meet again. Jom got a quick taste of the past and quickly returned to his era to meet his soulmate. Poor Khun Yai passed away waiting. That's what I understand from watching episode 12 but I could be wrong. Anybody has any thoughts on this?

When I watched on my own, I didn’t quite understand how Khun Yai came to Jom ? Now that I know they’re gonna make the continuation, okay … everything will be clarified in season 2. I also liked the fact that Kamsaen & Fongkeaw parted in the past, Jom was there witnessing what happened to them. That really helped Jom to be able to forgive Ohm & his fiancee in the present day for Jom’s own peace of mind.

Thanks for your review of this amazing series. Sometimes, you need a mental break from watching this show because it's virtually impossible not to cry over Khun Yai and Jom. Their love is just so pure, beautiful, and immensely powerful. Aside from their romance, the show managed to elevate the source material even further by fleshing out the side characters and actually tackling real life issues that LGBT people faced during the 1920s. I Feel You Linger in the Air isn't just the best drama of 2023. It's a masterpiece.

The scene made me want to cry and because of this scene well my health was not going so well that when he left him alone my heart blood pressure and my anxiety and everything around me was going high I thought I was getting myself heart attack but I realize now that I've been a beer from Thailand for about 4 years now and I need to like watch some boys out that is like positive and laughable and well something that'll keep you your mind off of things you know I didn't like the scene where he disappeared I had to forget about it for about months or a week I let this be a lesson for me next time there's a boys love make sure it's not about disappearing or Deja Vu or time traveling or ghost or something I don't know just be a happy ending

In my opinion, I Told Sunset about You is the best. IFYLITA ranks the second mainly because the ending is not clear enough. Another reason is that the symbols / motifs in ITSAY are more impressive.
There are indeed some similarities between the two series, 1. the underwater kissing scenes 2. the use of flowers and their smell 3. the lyrics translation scene VS the poem recital scene

Yai in 2023 is Khun Lek's nephew, Yai is Khun Yai's reincarnation. He didn't know Jom from the beginning but he recalled Jom once he saw Jom in the magazine for the first time. After that Yai always dreamed about Jom and realized how they loved each other in the previous life. So he comes to the Palathip house to meet Jom and it ends..

There is about a minute and a half of season 2. When I saw it I was Angry because is Jom never going to get to be with Yai? Turns out in the book, he doesn’t go to the present first, he goes even further into the past to when he and Yai First meet. And that’s what season 2 will be about. Yai is on horseback and dressed in 1700’s traditional, but that mustache 😂
