It's perfectly safe for families to attend matches as the arenas have different sections.
Hahaha 😂😂 best comment.
Deppends on the Line up of the clubs and which country. Dude.... NEVER bring your kids to a derby. They tend to end up in a Warzone regardless.
You really have to research what game you want to go beforehand.
I once ended up in the middle of ultras after a game. Fuck did i know a game was at that day. Or whether their team won or lost. I was just a student catching a train back home.
Whole train sation was like a warzone. Near impossible to escape. Armed police everywhere. Later i learned it was a game with insane tension.
Two rivaling clubs from neighbouring towns. --> no long journey ergo all fans there
One of the two clubs was about to descend one liga. So it was an very important game.
And some punishment for one of the clubs had just ran out, so all fans were allowed.
Well the train station was full of police in full riot gear. And i had a backpack, which made me suspicious.
@@Warhaller whut? thats not true, not the whole stadium is a die hard ultra
@@hgvnl489 no, nowhere is all the stadium, even un Argentina or greek teams
Americans are so soft with passion when it comes to sport.
If Americans showe to much passion for their teams and burn stuff around, the police gonna shoot and mostlikely kill thise passionated fans.In America it is dangereus to trow the flares araund like in Europa,in America the police dont give a fuck they just schoot at you.Really dangereus ,,free,,state. They must be soft, better soft then dead.
Very true
Was expecting to see an American comment "No, We jUSt kNOW hoW to ceLEBrate." Like bro, no you don't. 💀
this is not a chaos
In Europe, we call this
HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
Legend 😂
People Live, Eat and Breathe Football around the world. Ultra's World videos and Ultras chants are brilliant 😍 ⚽
05:53 "THE flag" is treated as military flags are treated. If it gets stolen the unit disbands. Do not confuse THE flag with the rest of the flags.
"They" always try to steal THE flag from each other. THE flag is carried by several dozens decoys to the stadium and fights are fought for it. This happens every single game. It is worse when there are derbies.
Greetings from Romania!
but that is the best thing of being and ultras and suporting your team as well
It is not just Germany ( i think maybe one club) but it was Greece, Serbia, I think UK.... and few more. Also do not worry families are perfectly safe and on collapsing stadions. Those were made to withstand that kind of vibrations.

Bravo Zec
Olympiakos are from Greece, but yes Europe is carazy.
Saw some Switzerland in there👍 Fc Basel for sure and i think some others.
Dinamo Zagreb, Croatia💪💪💪
2:32 it's not in Germany but its in Greece at a basketball match. Olympiacos is the name of the team
It's for your (part of the) city, pride, unrelenting unconditional love. From grandfather to grandkids, it's our colors, our history, trough heavy defeats and relegation, to promotion and victory. Teams that haven't been successful in 20yrs still pull full stadiums.
Also, some of these Ultras were incorporated in the armies of the Balkan wars. Recognisable from their training suit pants, sneakers and army jackets. It goes even further; in Russia hooligans train multiple combat styles to go meet rivals, in even fights.
And get this...also some women fight eachother. That's how fast it goes.
Yeah various paramilitary units recruited from the ranks of the Ultras and fought in the war, the most notorious one being Arkan's tigers
My most impressive Ultra moment was during a foggy winter night in Rotterdam. No light in the street, not a person in sight but... You could hear thousands screaming AS ONE VOICE! " ROTTERDAM HOOLIGANS! ROTTERDAM HOOLIGANS! ROTTERDAM HOOLIGANS! ROTTERDAM HOOLIGANS! " That was so eerie. I still got the chills 20 years later.
I'm British and I view the European passion for football as something very tribal. A millennium of conflict, rivalry and national (& regional) pride channelled into sport instead of constant war. In an ever increasingly connected technological world, its one of the few remaining occasions that can socially level and unite a town or country behind a common cause, no matter who you are :)
Oh, and the different coloured fire is flares, and usually there will be a separation in sections for families etc to sit in, and the ultras tend to respect those boundaries :)
Indeed. Football is Europes exchange for wars between countries and regions like back in the days. An outlet to feel the rivalry, feel the belonging, feel the pride in where you're from. Feel the primal needs satisfied.
it literally is tribal and it shows the most when the games are between historical enemies
Some people have church we have football that's our religion 🇬🇧 Europe smashes it been away with Tottenham those Greek fans and Polish are of the chain
Adult children
YID ARMY⚪️🔵
There is not a single football fan Europe who doesn't live and breath his club's colours. Rain? Snow? What are those? We go and support our club.
Here in Belgium, it was very rough in the '80s and '90s. First match in the first division that I attended I saw one guy punching a horse just to be agressive, people kicked of the stairs of the stadium, etc. We went with a bus to Antwerp stadion, the driver said he was more nervous there than in the former Yugoslavia where they just had armed conflict.
Quite impressing sometimes, to go with a bus to away games with your own lower league club, and suddenly being escorted with 10 coaches from the road because they think you are going to a high risk game. Then, you have to go buy a soft drink with special police units, because otherwise the store would be robbed by the whole group...
each club in europe is a way of life. Some more then others, but all are much more then just "clubs"!
Cheers from SLBenfica / Portugal
5:28 Make that 15-50+, mate. I know guys older than my dad who are still going on more away matches than me.
The fire calls "Bengalos". In the most stadiums they are forbidden, but....
Flares. This is all over europe.
☄️☄️
No pyro no party
Great Vid fellas..👍
Another reason for the difference in passion is the club has a traditional location that they will never move from and most of the iconic clubs have 100 old stadiums.
No team would ever move city like NFL teams do as there would be complete uproar.
I think being a world sport is also key as the national team in England/Scotland/Wales is ridiculously supported the whole country stops which fosters interest in the sports whereas the main 3 US sports are fairly limited to US and a handful other countries.
America it’s all about the money,, Europe is passion it’s in the DNA. different world
Cool reaction: 😎 10 points from Germany
Gentlemen, let me start by saying it's great to see a dad and his son do this together! About the video, this 'type of behavior' is a lot deeper than just support for a footballclub. It's, rather summarized, about the city. About the neighborhood. About the (religious) background. The form in which this is proliferated and evolved is sport, mostly football. But the intense, obsessive way to support your club (and with that your province, city, neighborhood, religious background) and even saying you will kill and die for that club has a deeper history. Combine that with the modern ways of raising kids, more specific boys (sit still and color within the lines, certainly don't run around and throw with things, as a first method of testing materials you might be building infrastructure with later, no no no, just sit still and 'behave') and this display of excessive behavior can be explained and understood a little better. Greetings from the Netherlands, where fans threw burning projectiles on the pitch as recent as yesterday... ;)
G E K O L O N I S E E R D
Football teams are embedded in the areas they come from , the history of the tram and area go back generations , teams starting g over 100 years ago so it's part of your blood to support your team ..
Usually the fans on those videos are from football clubs. A lots of them are Greek Team and they are apsolute animals. Panathinaikos club are on Gate 13 and Olympiakos are Gate 7 (opposide) ! When those two play against each other outside the stadium is a battlefield literaly. But if someone less fanatic wants to go on a game they are sitting on differend gates so its more family friendly.. still those clubs make so much noice so in the end literaly everyone is chanting and joining in ! Super good fun.
Emergency flares, they are flares.
In America sport is about entertainment and selling hot dogs and admiring geeks in the marching bands.
In Europe football is a religion.
The violence that you saw does not happen every game. Usually it gets heated during very important matches, like the finals or if two teams with a history play each other.
Welcome 2 🇪🇺
The Hooligans have recepts for this flares, they can make them themselves.
It may look scary to attend, but it's still safer than attending an American school these days...
Football is a Religion in Europe!
Its not Germany. It was a Greek team Olympiakow chanting, in Croatia I think. There are 4 clubs (teams) from Greece in this video.
I'm gonna have anxiety attack 😂😂😂 tha was a good one , nice video guys Visca Barca
There those Ultras that are more hooligans then Ultra. Just remember to wear home team colors and sit near them, in the family section, then you'll be fine.
I think you’re dad is ready to be an Ultra ☄️🔥🔥
These fires that you have seen are signal torches used on vessels to indicate that you are in danger and that you need help.
I remember hooligans of Ajax and Feyenoord (Amsterdam and Rotterdam ) meeting up to fight each other and there were deaths, that was more in the 90's and 2000's.
Nothing cool abt that
@@nicocast23 are you assuming something?.

Enjoyed the reaction fellas. Unrelated to the video though, I like the look of your oul fellas sweater lmao. It looks comfy asf.
Classic turtle neck my friend. Where you at we mail you one !
Almost 99% of this videos and FANS are from the Balkans --- BULGARI - GREECE - SERBIA - TURKY - ECT.
99% is an exaggeration
all those clips are from eastern europe mostly balkans.
17 biggest derbies in English football. Shows fans vs fans of rival teams
The buildings are designed to take 5 times the weight of the fans, so it is safe when they jump in unison.
The song is: The Prodigy- breathe
im not a sports fan but have some people that are. usually they use flares (or here also called pyros) like used in emergencys. they usually give that red fire look. They also use smoke bombs wich come in different colors and are most likely in the colors of the team they'r supporting.
Good Reaction............and coming soon........the WILD STUFF :)
I I've in Europe. You have to understand that a team is not just a team...it's like religion. Organized fans. Weapons, flares, chants. No kids, no families attend. You go numb. The atmosphere is terrifying. The true meaning of home court
I'm German. I think the reason is that Europe has always been at war with each other and taking land from each other. That is why there is a great love of home in Europe. I only watch football on TV and I'm not a hooligan, but if I was in a game from my home country, drank a lot of alcohol and our rivals insult us all the time, I think I would attack the others with my team because it's feels like they're belittling our homeland and finding their homeland better than ours. I know this sounds ridiculous, but imagine if we were to slander your homeland, your origins and everything you stand for all the time. We hate each other but when it comes to our homeland we are all united and fighting side by side.
Very deep word, my friend. Violence never ends well but I get what your saying...
The difference between a European club ♥️ and a U.S. franchise $$$
That fire is warning flares
The first was Greece
If you not one of us, you will never understend. React the video "why ultras are so important to football.
There are teams from Holland, Croatia, Russia....Balkans.
In derby's women and children is not allowed, they gather over 50.000 men's. And yes...it is very dangerous ,you can easily lose your life.
There are also teams from Germany, Poland, Sweden, Greece and Turkey in the video
As Dutchie I have no affection with soccer/football whatsoever but... When I hear the... "Rotterdam Hooligan" chant, there is goosebumps all over... Too bad it's not in the video.
I don't get the hooliganism (is that a word?) tho...
You love a club, I get that.. But bashing in faces? Putting fear into fathers with their sons who want to have a good day? I don't get it... Really.
First clip is actually from Greece not Germany :) but the clips are from all across europe except for the UK I guess
they dont burn molotov cocktail ahhaha. this are just flare with different colors dude. but they are forbidden in the arena.
No pyro no show 💚🍀💚🏴☠️💚🏴
for you understand better, football is like the gladiators of ancient rome, who fought in coliseums, this are in our blood
2:28 Greece Olympiacos FC
it wasnt germany its greece the most hardcore football fans comes from the balkan
p.s. some hardcore fans(more like assholes killed a 21 year old man cause he was different team
he was chilling outside of his home with some friends 2 cars stopped saw him wearing another teams shirt and they shank him to death
To be fair, the absolute state of our fucked up countries in Balkans allows fans to be more wild, and have our own 80s England state of affairs, but I don't think Germans, Dutch, French...not to mention Brits are any less hardcore.
It was Greece
Was it Aris vs paok?
@@jovanjorgovan23 yeah can atleast vouch that ultras/hooling deaths due violence are somewhat common throughout most of Europe, not only Balkan.
AFCA Amsterdam also was shown here on multiple occasions and that's a fact.
But probably in the Balkans the amount of clubs that have Ultras is higher.
In the rest of Europe it's more like 5-10 clubs per country that have such Ultras, so maybe that's less than in Balkans?
Percentage wise.
Against the system 💪
The left guy is inkradible 😆 Just sub for him🤣🤣🤣
Dident you in america know what 1312 means?
I live in Europe and I have attended these games. The fans are like a gang. It's all about the club. It's usually the big clubs that have the most fans. Every European country has like 5 or 6 big clubs that are always contending for a championship. It's not like in the states were any club can be a champion. In Europe its about 5 or 6 clubs. And the clubs have all sports. The same fans who support their club go to soccer games, basketball games, volleyball games even women's volleyball games. The clubs have club houses were fans go and hang out. There are chants, and bombs and even weapons. In the past rival fans would meet somewhere and fight...there were stabbings, people getting shot, now the police are very strict and it has somewhat the fighting has stopped. In these games the atmosphere is terrifying, your legs go numb. There are no kids, families attending. No opposing fans attend. Its something that you gotta see up close. This would never happen in the US.
the first one, with red all over, is not Germany... It's Greece! Many other clips are from Greece, as well!
When your dad said we going deep that's what she said
Talking about your mother of course😎
Europe have passion for the club

Just for people dont know: These ultra fans got their own area in the stadium to not having any interaction with other people around them
2:22 “that’s German” said with confidence but that’s Greek
He just knows 😅
The resistance against the police thing is always regional. But many of these countries have a big problem with police violence and control as well as very marginalizing and repressive autocratic governments. They are not only cracking down on personal life and freedom, as well as social programs in their country, but also on football fans. organizing yourself as ultras oftentimes is the only way for you to find solidarity, lik-minded people, a support network as well as express some of the remaining freedom you have or your political will. That's why clashes with the police happen more frequently in eastern europe than western europe.
first clip isnt Germany its from Greece olympiakos basketball team and please react to some greek trap drill songs

Welcome to europe where football is a religion
familys are in other sections. they´re not in the same block.
React to Macedonian ultras will like it !
This is not about fans , just animals
It’s not fans. It’s supporters
they are simply just coloured flares
If you only looked at the good of ultras they would be amazing, but for me all the violence especially ruins it. Should not require riot police to have a gameday.
