- I talk with Larry, also known as the Carnivore Soldier, to explore his remarkable journey from military service to discovering the carnivore diet. Larry shares his personal struggles with weight, stress, and the failure of other diets, leading him to adopt a carnivore lifestyle, which resulted in substantial weight loss, improved mental clarity, and a resolution of allergies and aches.
Inspired to help others, Larry created a TH-cam channel ( / @carnivoresoldier ) share his experiences and insights into the carnivore diet, emphasizing its simplicity yet acknowledging its challenges. The discussion covers the psychological adjustments needed for such a dietary transition, incorporating it into family life, and the broader mission of spreading the message to veterans and first responders to improve their physical and mental health. Larry also touches on societal perceptions of diet and health, providing advice for staying committed and overcoming setbacks.

Do you think it's better to go all-in on the carnivore diet on day one? Or is a gradual transition better?
all-in....when I heard about carnivore it made so much sense there was no reason to do a gradual transition.
Transition
Pure carnivore tough
Steak eggs bacon
Lamb chops yummy
High fat nuts
Macadamia
Pecan
Walnuts in moderation
Salmon sardines a must
Dont forget the avocados
After about half a year of keto (which I started going all-in), I naturally progressed into carnivore (thinking at some point: Why do I still buy those expensive avocados? They are rotten half of the time anyways.)
Gradual transition is best! But if you're able to go all in without any issues, that's a possibility for some folks!
Thank you
Great interview! Thank you!!!
Shalom Evan 🥩🙏💕 I am one of Larry's veterans. I discovered him when he launched in August. He has helped me improve my carnivore skill set. Not least by introducing our household to the air fryer. In my view his most powerful work is "How to join the fight". Larry has definitely had a huge influence on my life and I'm proud to call him friend. 💪🫡
That’s fantastic. He’s a wonderful inspiring guy.
