Sir it is very true, I have been using Duster, 2014, 85 PSI RXL. I have driven it 1100km nonstop just in 14 hrs various times (13 times I have done it from Maharashtra to Tamilnadu) I have achieved this target. My Duster is in a showroom condition with 230000 km run. I love my Duster. I have been getting a mileage of 20kmpl. Zero maintenance till today.
Duster is perfect mid-size suv. Using once since 2013 . 205mm ground clearance, no body roll and 17 inch wheels destroys all potholes. Perfect ride quality. No other suv can match this car under 20 lakh.
Exactly the height to width ratio is best. Driver position is perfect and the car looks are way better that cars in the segment ooohhh I mean toys in this segment

Mine is a petrol ( Nissan K4M engine), bulletproof reliability of this engine is worth mentioning, have already done 16000 kms in 8 months. This guy is talking bullshit about petrol, it has decent power and is actually faster, both in gear acceleration as well as sprints in each gear, personally did 195kmph (186kmph GPS).

I would never recommend driving straight for 22 hours.... once in life time is acceptable due to some emergency..... but limit your driving to max 10-12 hours per day with breaks after every 2-3 hours either for water, tea, washroom, dinner, lunch etc.... it will give you rest as well to your car..... driving for long periods non stop will bring toll to your body.....
I own 2014 terrano 85ps clocked at 1.52lakh km currently. Still running butter smooth with no major issues or breakdown. This 85ps Engine(k9k) is rock solid. Recently after crossing 1.5 lk on the odo I got the radiator fan not working. Still drove 300km+ in city and highway mix(in hot weather) Before I repaired the fan motor (cost 1.4k). The Engine didnt heatup even without fan.That was mind blowing experience. I never take it to ASC unless parts not available outside. So far didnt spend more than 5k on a single service outside ASC. Driving fun, Ride comfort, cheap maintenance and fuel economy this car has no comparison in its segment. Heavy clutch and lack of connectivity features are the cons.

Mine(2016 Duster 85ps) also clocked more than 1.3 lakh km, Routine maintenance on every 10k km(5500-7500/- per service at authorized service center). Once ac compressor changed at 94,000 km(free of cost under warranty). Tyres changed once at 80,000 km. Fuel economy 17-19 kmpL on mixed roads(70% highway and 30% rural) Engine and suspension still working very good without any issues. 🙂🙂

Also you can see that during collision impact in GNCAP its A pillar gets flexed grossly like Mahindra Scorpio thats why Duster is a Tincan. Kerb weight of Duster in Diesel variant is only 1235 kg despite being so long & wide in size. Duster is a Tincan

seriously that car held for 2.25 lack kilometer great yarr guess u took care of it well the same model is owned by one of our professors and that thing breakdowns every 6 months ,he is very patient with the car and taught so much by after every breakdown and he rebuilt it along with us and still running I guess around 1.20 lakh kilometer. But the breakdowns are there but not regularly.

Basically care is not enough as it is a machine so you need to know technical things about cars.age of car depends upon little things which usually people don’t bother. I own 2014 110 ps terreno....I have never faced any issue with car or engine.Not even injector issue, mentioned in video. Only concern with 110ps is heavy clutch and evident turbo lag during city driving.

I had duster.. ran without any fuss for 1.1lakh km.. changed suspension at 95k km that too because I went to rohtang and the road was pathetic otherwise no problem at all. Stability was superb uptil 140km/hr. Not a single niggle till 1.1lakh km.. ac, power window, turbo, heater, center looking no problem whatsoever! Just kept on changing break pads every 25k km
Hi, I am also Mayank and got 2013 85ps duster, driven 1.7 lakhs km and nothing else except tyres were changed once not even clutch and pressure plate. Honestly, I am not sure if I am lucky or this car is very reliable. Now it's been 8 years and we can drive diesel cars for only 10 years now I am looking for a replacement and it's very confusing which car to pick.
I have also driven 1500 kms in a single stretch from Bangalore to Bhubaneswar in 30 hours with family during the lockdown without any major break… For me it took little long time since i was having my 3 yrs kid with me..
Duster 110 2012 1.8 lacs - zero expense till date. 100% service from same auth center. Has not even required alignment. Average never been below 15kml and best 21kml.

Namaskar Ravi ji. I own a Duster 110ps diesel 2017 model. One thing which I want to mention is that the injector problem of duster was till the models before 2015, after that Renault changed the injectors and no such problems after that has been reported. One of my dear friend Mr. Madhur has worked in Renault for about 7 years and after his suggestion I bought Renault Duster. my Duster 110ps gives an average of about 12-15kmpl in city and 15-22kmpl on highways. Till date I love my car and how it drives specially high speed stability and no car which I have driven can match that be it Creta, Seltos or other competetors.
He said 85Ps recommended but if u want power, punch and throttle then go for 110ps... I have duster 2012 model and it is still a beast... Just track ur service time and its an amazing vehicle ❤

Looks crazy to drive non stop for 500 kms 1000 kms.. But this style of driving could damage engine in long run.. Engine Temperature needs to cool down
Nothing will happen as the engine is getting cooled and maintaining medium temperature while running

I had duster.. ran without any fuss for 1.1lakh km.. changed suspension at 95k km that too because I went to rohtang and the road was pathetic otherwise no problem at all. Stability was superb uptil 140km/hr. Not a single niggle till 1.1lakh km.. ac, power window, turbo, heater, center looking no problem whatsoever! Just kept on changing break pads every 25k km

Hi, I am also Mayank and got 2013 85ps duster, driven 1.7 lakhs km and nothing else except tyres were changed once not even clutch and pressure plate. Honestly, I am not sure if I am lucky or this car is very reliable. Now it's been 8 years and we can drive diesel cars for only 10 years now I am looking for a replacement and it's very confusing which car to pick.
I have also driven 1500 kms in a single stretch from Bangalore to Bhubaneswar in 30 hours with family during the lockdown without any major break… For me it took little long time since i was having my 3 yrs kid with me..

Maine call karke agency walo ko bulaya to wo jaise taise karke usse service center tak le gye, wahan jakar unhonne injector ki problem batayi, ek hafte tak unhonne company se nirdesh aayenge ka bahana lagaya, fir agle hafte bole ki aapka injector ki demand daal di hai company me , within one week part aa jayega, 29 march se gaadi agency me hi khadi hai, ab kal unhonne kaha ki is part ka back order me chala gya hai , maine pucha iska kya matlab hai to bole company me hai hi nahi saman, dekhte hai kya hota hai, sir ab mujhe bahut gussa bhi aa raha h or preshan bhi hu ki ab kya karu, meri gadi under warranty bhi hai 2025 tak, please help me sir ,aap sugges kare ki kya karu jo ye log meri gaadi jaldi thik karke mujhe lota de,

Actually model and features are old but disel RXZ is top of line in driving experience, behind me I hv left many super duper cars in highway trip, no one can beat this cars for Comfort and durability

Congested pedal area. No dead pedal or no space at left side of clutch to keep left leg. Very Heavy clutch. Very much turbo lag. Costly and non reliable fuel injectors.

I own a Duster 110ps diesel 2017 model.
One thing which I want to mention is that the injector problem of duster was till the models before 2015, after that Renault changed the injectors and no such problems after that has been reported.
One of my dear friend Mr. Madhur has worked in Renault for about 7 years and after his suggestion I bought Renault Duster.
my Duster 110ps gives an average of about 12-15kmpl in city and 15-22kmpl on highways.
Till date I love my car and how it drives specially high speed stability and no car which I have driven can match that be it Creta, Seltos or other competetors.
if it is stable at high speed but i am not satisfied with current duster 1.3 turbo is 2 star safety ratings 😠😠😠😠😠
Every duster is having injector issue. Models after 2015 also having that issue. Duster has many issues over the time.
