I honestly think Opie missed the chance to play the endearing, sympathetic, unfunny guy in a room of legends. But he just tried too hard to keep up with them, or interrupt them.
The nervous laughing of Opie in the background when Anthony brings up his father throwing things around the house is a great bit. Sometimes Opie was really irreplaceable. I wish they would have had more open discussions behind the scenes about how they felt. Listening to these old episodes really brings life back into my otherwise dull existence.
