I'm very happy that the English-speaking fandom has overall been open and receptive to Chinese Opera because of her. Genshin Impact. I wonder how much revitalised interest there has been in this art form, due to the game. It would be interesting to see a chart showing search results for the last 10 years.
the art itself is still and will continue to be very popular with chinese people, it's part of our culture after all; but since genshin's fanbase is so large and come from such a diverse background, yunjin's character definitely brought it to the attention of the international stage!
Chinese culture is always prevelant to the chinese people, how else do u think we have 5000 years of traditions still passed down lol. But this def brings it to the international stage as well as exposing it back into the younger generations in china. Music like this is no longer as played in mainsteam media anymore but there has been an uproar to bring back traditional art forms again so in the recent years theres been alot of traditional sounds mixed into pop songs or stylized singing again

I'm a genshin player and just recently found this channel because of another song 囍，so glad to see she also sang this song for Shenhe. She has a beautiful voice and best singing skills! Such a talented performer!!
The original is great but I think this singer's voice suits Yun Jin's character better. Yun Jin is young and the current singer's voice seems too old but this one fits.
