My daughter asked if I could make gravy. I said yes and she said, “great! Your in charge of the Turkey.” Used this recipe and now I fear I’ll always be in charge of the Turkey. Thanks😳
Chef Tom you have NEVER, I REPEAT, YOU have NEVER disappointed me with the Meats you've prepared and smoked. Every video you have made the dishes look delicious...😋 ..Thank you Brother
'Truly; Savage' with the musical interlude. LOVE IT!!
I used this recipe yesterday and it was amazing. First time I've injected a turkey. We also roasted a 25 lb bird in the oven, nothing left from the 12 lb bird I smoked. Love this channel.
I followed your advice to the T... Best turkey ever and it's not close! First Thanksgiving I have ever enjoyed the Turkey! THANK YOU!!
I did this recipe this past weekend. Turned out great!!! Thanks Tom. This is every bit as good as last years turkey recipe. The family devoured it and wanted more.
I'm glad you did not wait until a week before Thanksgiving to do this video. This gives me the opportunity to make this way before turkey day. Thanks!
My favorite bbq channel. Doing 2 of these for Christmas using this video as inspiration but with my own twists! Happy bbqing!
This is quite possibly your best video yet. Well done you glorious American.
All I can say is thank you Chef - with your pointers - we ran with your direction and came up with an amazing BBQ turkey! Thank you!! Keep up the awesome shows!
No words dude. You are born for this.
You sir, are a Real-Life American Hero! This is the first time I have been excited for Turkey.
Made this today... many compliments to the chef all because of you.. great stuff!
I’ve enjoyed every post on this channel and I have to say this is my favorite video yet, and there’s a lot of great posts. Can’t wait to try this. Thank you for the inspiration.
I spatchcocked my turkey for the 1st time ever, I'm now 48 years old, and it was simply the best turkey I've ever eaten... NO JOKE! Also worth noting... I had a 13.8 lb bird that took 3.25 hours before I hit temp. Plan accordingly, but it was so good, I'm doing another one next week!!
I could cook turkey all week after watching this. i"m so excited for thanksgiving
Epic savage garden plug had me rolling. Great vid as always!
So subtle with the snippet, LOL had me rolling!
Ohhh Yeah, y'all always have an awesome run of holiday cooks, looking forward to them
This truly made the fams thanksgiving! Best turkey recipe, hands down!
Well done, Tom. Looks so good I swear I can smell it through my screen.
made this for thanksgiving last year. will be making it again this year. its just that good
Phenomenal video, Chef Tom. Thanks for bringing your talent and recipes to us all!
Made this for a Friendsgiving this year on my WSM.. I did bump up the temp to 325 and then popped it in the oven at 450 for the last 15 min or so in order to get a crispier skin. .Many there said it was the best Turkey they ever had...I of course had to agree. Thank you Chef for the video.
Impressive and quality American cooking at its finest... Well did Chef!!!!
Great timing. Another awesome video. Thanks Chef!
An absolute masterpiece! Looking great, Tom!
We did a test cook of this recipe tonight to make sure I had it right for next week...WOW!!!
I have never had a turkey this juicy and flavorful before! Three grow people looked like a pack of Hyenas eating.
To borrow from one of the great movies from the 80’s. Chef Tom, if someone asks if you’re a god, you say YES!
That looked fantastic. Ched Tom always makes the best looking turkeys!!
NOW THAT.................... was an education. Great job! Thank you.
That’s just about the most delicious looking turkey I’ve ever seen.
And I can’t believe it wouldn’t taste anything but amazing.
I have a fresh, small turkey on order from my butcher for next week.
And I’ve just watched the prep for it right here.
I will do mine on an 18.5” Weber Smokey Mountain (WSM). I just bought the WSM and love it.
I'm going to try this for Christmas! Thanks for the continuously great videos, keep'em coming.
Was planning on doing this for Thanksgiving this year, thanks for the walk through.
Dear Chef Tom... BEST EPISODE EVER!!!
Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to try this out.
I did this recipe with some major changes because I didn't have all the seasonings and a smoker. I just spatchcock the turkey did the butter injection and put it on the grill with indirect smoke. MAN! people went crazy this Thanksgiving. The turkey was falling apart and so juicy when I pulled it of the grill! It was the best turkey I've ever cooked!!!!! Thanks for the insight!
I need to report back that I made this for Thanksgiving and came out to be the best Turkey I've ever had. Followed the recipe except that I smoked it on a Lang. Thank You
Bird looked amazing! Love the new video style (adding a little humor). Can't wait to see what you cook next.
Amazing recipe! I'm definitely doing that this year!
I love this recipe. I did it last year on a pellet grill and this year I'm doing it on the stick Brunner smoker.
Love your cooking! Such an American classic.
This was bird #2 this year... What a combination of turkey's.... Along with the cranberry/sugar spice dip sauce we used some of the cranberry with a local favorite sweet BBQ... Both were huge hits! Great cranberry taste..
lost it when the song came on! Lol you make me look like a way better cook than I am at home. Thank you for the great videos.
Really enjoyed the video. Would definitely try at least once before thanksgiving to make sure i get it right. Thank you

This looks amazing. I'm going to do this without spatchcocking the bird, and i'm going to smoke it on my Kamado Joe Big Joe. Truly a fantastic recipe, and high quality video as always with you guys. Thanks!!
Can you do a video on the pro's/con's of cooking with pellet grills, charcoal, and gas grills. Looking to one of the three soon. Thanks
Another great dish
14:06 reminds me of the Parks and Rec episode where Ron hands a guy a paper saying "I do what I want!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did this recipe last year, it was perfect, doing it again tomorrow
It was already a savage video/recipe then suddenly Savage Garden pops in - awesome 👏!

I've watched a few of this guys videos. I do have a question as I like each one. Who in there right mind would dislike such art? This is some of the best meat cooking film I've seen in my whole life.
Daniel Andrews vegan vaginas
Awesome! love the video. Loved the sauce too. Even though it didn't need it. lol. Keep the videos coming man. They are great.
Well done chef. Excellent video!
As always great video!!!!

I lost it when the music hit! Haha amazing
Great video! Great recipe! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Cheers!
Looks amazing.
Loving the humor
Simply outstanding
I always bone and roll my turkey. This year, I will do one of each. This is an awesome way to do a great turkey. I subbed and I am totally on board.
Great video......................................
Oh man. I do smoked turkey breasts almost year round. This recipe is fantastic. The only other thing I would suggest would be to put the bird on a cooling rack and then in the pan. That would give the air room to circulate under the bird as well and keep the meat from swimming in the fat and juices that run out (though some may like that; I prefer getting everything slightly crisp and pouring the au jus later)
Keep up the great work on these recipes and videos.
Hysterical.
We're spatchcock-smoking and deep frying 2 turkeys this year, ese.
Savage Garden throw back love it
I loved the recipe and the sauce looked awesome. I would love to see a dry aged prime rib smoked on the YS640.
Great cook. After discovering spatchcocking several years ago, it's the only way to go. I like to start out slow to get some smoke and then cook a little hotter 350-375 to get my skin crisp. Since it's spactchcocked and everything cooks evenly, the birds never dry out on me and the skin gets crispy.
The part where you said you were going to make a sauce anyway cracked me up! Lol!.
I’ll be your dream 😂 love the recipe chef !
Omg that looks sooooooo delicious!!!!!!!!!
Great looking bird and recipe. Thanks!
Purely fantastic!
