Catch them whilst you still can - the Class 507s don’t have long. All but ONE of the 507/508s I saw in this video have since been scrapped. Check the description for the details. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
It’s a bit of an awkward station to film at since the track bends around the platform and you end up filming other people. I was lucky that it stopped though! Thanks for watching 😃
Amazing video again Starlife!! You got some great stuff there it was great to see the 507/8s in action and awesome noises from the 37 as she opened up although shame it was dragging units for scrap i suppose!!
The cycle of rolling stock! The 507/508s have done really well and lasted much longer than expected (they should have been replaced in 2020). I captured a surprising amount of variety considering! Thanks for watching! 😃
Bidston railway station serves the village of Bidston, Merseyside, England. The station is situated at a junction of the West Kirby branch of the Wirral line, which is part of the Merseyrail network; it also serves as the northern terminus for the Borderlands line from Wrexham Central, with services operated by Transport for Wales.
Completely agree. They have a modern interior which easily hides their true age. They truly are the work horses of Merseyside and will be missed. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Farewell Class 507. They too would be missed as well the Class 508. And TfW who are using the Class 230 on the Borderlands Line could inherit few more to boost more extra services.
Unfortunately, this is not a station I plan to visit. The covered and dark nature of the station makes is difficult to film and the fast lines are inaccessible. If there happens to be a day where I can gain access to these platforms - I will consider it but that hasn’t happened for a long time. Thanks for your support and understanding.
I will certainly look into it Class35718. I use a Panasonic HC VX1 camcorder, it’s an expense piece of equipment but I’m glad you like it. Thanks for watching as always, hope you are having a great Sunday 😃👍🏻

That looks like a nice place even though it’s small
The last 508 ran on Saturday I think
Excuse my french, but fucking hell the 777s are quick off the bat!
They certainly are! The 507s aren’t that slow either though 🙂
Excellent video as always!
Thanks again!
Love the video especially the 507 parts
The new class 777s on Mersey rail look better than the old trains
I agree
Absolutely Brilliant Captures Ross! Love this station!
Excellent just as always! ⭐ keep up the great work
That buckeye coupler is unique for that 37
Lovely ROG catch
