What a life altering experience all these kids who've played Billy have had. Old enough to appreciate and remember it all and young enough to not be all blase about it.
Just been to an amazing youth theatre version of Billy tonight.....they were fantastic. Difficult to recreate the flying scene as shown on the West End stage though..........I thought this scene was amazing when I saw it at the Victoria Theatre. Love this show.
i remember playing billy elliott and i had to wear a harness too underneath my costume i had to wear my dancebelt on with support cup too with my leotard and footed tights the flying rehearsals was fantastic gosh i wish i could do that again

saw it a couple of years ago with layton as billy...loved it one of the highlights on my musical marathon trip...
went to see billy elliot Layton Williams is fantastic as Billy a must see if visiting London
