It’s like the perfect combination of Grimes’ “California”, the great Go! Team’s “Thunder, Lightning, Strike” album, and I dunno, maybe Carly Rae’s recent banger “Psychedelic Switch”. Really sublime. The whole album has taken over my weekend. It all holds up to the high standard of this song. I think my favorite is “Will U Be Mine”. Such a great XSCAPE sample on that chorus.
I love how your videos compliment this impressionistic nature of your songs. It’s all about the feeling you get while listening. It’s just nice to listen to and good contrast to most pop songs, which most of the time just simply rely on the text.

I think initially I was just trying to find a chord mode to use with the sample that moved it from blues into some ionian relative key, I’m always inspired by trying to combine r&b, country, soul, pop and rock and after it was finished (or as I was finishing it) I kinda realized how it had a Next To Me vibe as an opener for the album, a lot of the album has hints towards Charmed’s structure and flow in various ways and I always thought Moby’s Honey was a great track title for an opener (though I don’t think the song has any resemblance!)

You continue to make it impossible to pick a favorite dj sabrina song and i feel that spiritually i am the guy answering the questions in "whos your favorite artist?" Thank you for an amazing 4 hour journey that i will be spending many many hours in over the next few months 😻
😉😉😉 I’ve tried a few times with album tricks, Goodnight and Geim Fandango’s CD and Cassette had a huge gap between them so you were meant to forget about it and fall asleep and the bonus track would play (the cd had a bunch of short tracks to emulate the 90’s trick where they put lots of short silent tracks out of paranoia the cd player would break if there was one long track or something, and the cassette lined the sides up perfectly so you could flip it and start over), Faithless was kinda a reverse reprise of What Else Should I Believe, you’d loop the album and “ohhh the first track is actually the chorus of the last track”, Spellbound had a couple of similarities with the last and first track, lore-wise MM2 and TOR were echoes on a mobius strip of time of the end and beginning of each other and the end of Charmed (the novel goes into some detail), After The Fall poem on Charmed was in key and timing with Next To Me and was meant to be listen to directly before looping the album instantly, so it was almost a pre-track at the end and Yenoh (yeah, no) is from the other realm! An echo of the beginning, intended to be heard directly before Honey, of course 🤭

It would be nice if you could contact the artists you sampled in this song and that they agreed to make a radio friendly version with you as producer. It would be an instant hit and it would usher a new era of optimism.
