- I'm trying on the new TF Soleil de Feu lip balms in Sunlight and Sun Spark, as well as the highlight in 02 Oasis. I hope this helps anyone trying to decide whether or not to pick up anything from the collection.

I feel like the lip balms are pretty but expensive for what they are. I have one from I believe when First Frost was released.. I passed on the highlights definitely too dark for me, but will be lovely on darker skin tones, so I’m happy they will have a couple to choose from.. I definitely want the eyeshadow palette as I passed on my first frost, now regretting it 😭 I only want the Tropical dusk.. Tfs 🫶🏼
I agree-the lip balms looked so glittery and metallic in the promo photos and seeing them as normal balms was a disappointment. When I was editing I pulled the promo photos again to insert them I realized how let down I really was. But I’m going to use them like crazy to make it “worth” it. I feel like other of the balms had more shimmer in them? I may grab a palette but we’ll see, so much is releasing right now!
So nice to find someone with the same lip color as me! Everyone has such light lips & their "nudes" look so bad on me 😂

The collection is absolutely horrible! I dont like youtubers who dont say the truth! Its nothing pretty about any of this
When it comes to makeup, it’s all subjective! I do think the highlight is pretty and like the formula. Is it worth it? Probably not to most people. The lip balms are lackluster and by showing the promo photos against the lip swatches hoped to show what the product actually was vs what was advertised. I’m a TF fan overall and was so excited to get these but my lack of enthusiasm for the lip products is clear and honestly, my disappointment in them has grown after the video as I continued trying to wear them. I do quite enjoy the highlight though.
@@beautyandsomebeasts ok since you love TF what is the difference in the highlighter from last year, or a year before? And in the pictures is advertised as glowing golden skin, not a tin man. And all of that needs to be conveyed when you review the collection, so ppl would be able to do right decision, for themselves, especially with other luxury brands stepping up their game! It has nothing to do with the price, we know that luxury makeup is expensive. No need for that comment . The question always is it worth it, or is it bunch the same, that most already have plenty of the same.
@@giedrebey5444 I didnt do comparisons here, but it is quite similar to the top shade in the Reflects Gilt duo and if you have that, this is a repeat. I think the advertising for the highlights this year makes this one look darker than it ends up being on the skin. I don’t think it’s a tin man look, but if you do, that’s your interpretation and hopefully watching videos of application allowed you to see that. I’m still very new to recording and posting videos so I’ll keep in mind that comparisons would be helpful to include. It is also similar in tone to the Chanel Or Rose from holiday 2022.
