  • Sorry guys the audio is not amazing on this so I left it without music and you will have to crank your speakers! #thestruggleisreal.
With that said, who else is awesome enough to bring you a video of Olympian Robert Dover actually riding! In this video he pops on while teaching to get a horse that is behind the leg, back out in front of the leg. For the newbies out there in front of the leg is where the magic happens and feels like his or her heart is out in front of your leg.
This is an example of how Robert Dover spends time working through this issue with this horse. Often horses stuck behind the leg will show resistance which we also see in this video.
This video was filmed at the Robert Dover Horsemastership program in Wellington, Florida at the Global Dressage Festival. For more great videos from this clinic make sure you subscribe.

Thank you for this video, it is great to see trainers that have the ability to just get on any horse and demonstrate what they are trying to achieve! It would be interesting to see what the horse was like before Robert got in the saddle, or is that on another video that is already uploaded? Cheers

+bec watson Thanks! I thought I had some of the other videos of this lesson up. You can check out the Robert Dover Playlist on my channel as well. Unfortunately the raw footage was stolen otherwise I would make the videos for you =)

Poor horse doesn't look all too happy. Look at that exaggerated tail swish. Horses aren't dogs and tail swishes like that are to signal negative emotions or pain. Or both.
