As the game went on, I really never noticed people using spark to lock in kills less and less, nowadays you use it defensively almost every match. I miss that offensive spark a lot honestly, it was always an "eye widen, shit's serious now" moment and you could feel the tension in the air as they go for a potentially game deciding TOD. Such an important resource spent offensively always got my blood pumping, as a spectator and player both.
I think it because back then, you couldn’t spark while blocking so it was more worth it to use it offensively. Now that you can and you have so many benefits saving it for your last character, it seems ppl rather just save it for that now.
I miss the day Kid Buu was viable, not gonna lie. I remember a time where everyone thought Kid Buu was just always going to be top tier because he just had all the tools for any situation. And now he's practically a paper weight compared to everyone else. At the very least, he's still a ton of fun to play.
i really hate that i got into this game as it started to die but i’m so glad i’ve found an amazing channel like yours. not just dbfz but just the fighting game content in general is always amazing
No. For starters, everyone used Cell so his viability is not to be argued. Season 1 Kid Buu was EASILY a top 5 character since he had great air-to-air, ground-to-air, and ground-to-ground coverage against the whole cast. It was just his weird normals that people didn't pick him up more. Lastly, Gotenks has Ghost oki - in a patch where you couldn't guard cancel it, so you HAD to hold the mix. I would say that the reason Sonic lost this set is due to how his team relies on a lot of setup, and so Fenritti abused this by going in as aggressive and oppressive as possible while defending himself with Vegeta A.
@blk-sandi bro its never so serious that you need to type an essay, i was mostly joking anyway. Plus sonic himself said the team was ass, shit literally had no synergy, the neutral was bad.

@@LinkZero64 you cant guard cancel spark. you must have a gap, and that is inherently risky
such simpler times. i was never into fighting games but I was hooked on this game since day one. this game had a good run, I wish it never died down

thanks! I really appreciate it!
this is the first time I've seen what fenritti looks like so I was hella surprised when he deadass is just Nicolas Wolfwood 😭
Pretty vanilla suggestion but would be really cool to see match reviews of wawas world tour top 8 run. Still go back and watch it from time to time
Since we are doing throwbacks, could you please cover Wawa vs Kyden. Both played really good and made some great adjustments throughout the set.
Damn, back when SonicFox played the game. btw Aco, have you seen the Sandalphon trailer? Was curious if you were going to react to it
Kazuloco vs Go1? Bro got to drag a cracked gotenks and roshi B to finals
bro in hindsight that team sonic was rocking was super ass lmfao

Would you ever do match reviews of other games? whenever i watch guilty gear I'm so confused.
check my channel page! I have reviews for Strive, Granblue and street fighter 6!
man the small drop into tod was krazy definitely the turning point of the match
Can we also do some Kazunoko stuff? That man was straight up terrorizing everyone with his Gohans, Yamchas and especially his Gotenks 🤣
I really prefer long match than the 2 touch combo
you say that but trying to make a comeback when you were down 1 or 2 characters was almost impossible.
Fenrich the confim God
Bardocks JM was SOOOOO slow wtf
I'm the like number 6 wooohoooo
