A fine tune from this Italian Symphonic Metal band, who like Imperial Age are totally go-it-alone independent and self-funded. This song has a strong Gothic/Industrial influence, giving it a modern feel. Very melodic and well structured, it has a good intro and a coda that brings it nicely back to ground. The production, though not outstanding, is fine, with the vocals up front and plenty of range, but not much separation in the heavily synthesised backing. The great melancholy melody is the thread that keeps it all together. With strong crossover appeal, it would equally suit a Gothic, Industrial or Symphonic playlist. My Score: Very Good 4*
I just listened to your new song Obsession. I know now why I instantly liked your music-my first song I ever heard was Mother Earth, which was my most listened to song last year! Lyrics are super significant to me, along with the music. You are clearly ‘thinkers’ as am I. I just read the lyrics and I know... and I am also a fighter.
