I saw them live several years ago in a little town called Mariestad in Sweden. Still don't know what the heck they were doing there! But her voice hasn't changed over the years. I got into them not long after Unforgiving was realeased. I listened to most of the stuff they had out at the time. However, I thought Hydra was pretty average but I've been blown away since Resist. 😁
Thanks For This Video!!! As a former Military guy, I seen the effects of war, and the careless use of "Heros" with "Halos" get thrown into the fray. The Leaders who make these decisions often have no care for the lives of the ones who die or sacrifice. Except sometimes you only have a choice between fighting a war and dying. And nobody in his right mind would accuse people of not wanting to die. Blame the attackers. Not the ones who defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Some nations have the luxury of judging wars and claiming moral high ground. And some others can only desperately defend against the attackers and hope they can kill enough of them in time to save their families. I am a Korean and have been a fan of within tempation for more than 10 years. This is definitely one of the best WT songs ever, it gives me so many feelings and I can't even describe them all.

Obviously don't know your style of rock, but recently found this band and the singer blows my mind. "Dayseeker - Without Me" Wait till at least the second chorus, before judging.
They have been my favorite band since 2005, and Sharon den Adel is the greatest female front woman in metal today and has been for a very long time. There is no one even close to them, they are like a fine red wine they just get better with age.
I remember when I first heard their music 14 years ago around the time I turned 18 & instantly became a fan (which never happens with me). They’re still my favorite to this day (especially after seeing them live twice so far).
Funnily enough I first heard them in a football (soccer) video on TH-cam around 2008, I researched who they were, and they've been my favourite band since.
Within Temptation is timeless. Discovered this band back in 2009 during my college years and have never stopped listening since then. This band has created a soundtrack to pretty much every major event in my life, and I am truly greatful for their talent. Blessings to all you and thank you for such great music.
Same here. The first time heard Angels was when it was used with clips from Final Fantasy VI’s added FMV cutscenes. Sadly, I believe that video has been deleted as I cannot find it anymore, but it was my introduction to WT who changed my views on how metal and classical music can be blended so beautifully.

The Heart of Everything was one of my favorite Within Temptation albums. I have hoped for something like it for years. And The Silent Force of course. That album was amazing too.

A lot of people say WT have become mediocre pop, but no, such intense emotion and deep topic is hardly ever touched by pop. I don’t care they are rock or metal. To me, they are their own subgenre already. So good to always try new stuff while keeping the epic spirit.

It truly gives a voice to those who do fight for their countries only to be shunned when arriving back to their countries, much like the soldiers of the Vietnam war. @@UhYeahWhateverDude No, unfortunately I don't remember the exact day. I tend to remember the exact month, and with a little guesswork I'm fairly certain I've narrowed it down to a specific week. At that time here in Bulgaria there was mandatory military service for all young men, so in 2003 I served my country for an extension of 9 months. I'll spare you the details, but when I heard the Ice Queen song, I remember being excited about graduating from the training center and joining a combat unit. I know the exact date of this event, and from that I suppose I must have heard WT no more than a week earlier. I liked the song so much that I wrote down the name with the intention of checking the group online when I was sent to garrison. I've liked the band ever since and I'm happy that they managed to stay interesting for so many years.

They have been my favorite band since 2005, and Sharon den Adel is the greatest female front woman in metal today and has been for a very long time.
There is no one even close to them, they are like a fine red wine they just get better with age.
I remember when I first heard their music 14 years ago around the time I turned 18 & instantly became a fan (which never happens with me). They’re still my favorite to this day (especially after seeing them live twice so far).
Funnily enough I first heard them in a football (soccer) video on TH-cam around 2008, I researched who they were, and they've been my favourite band since.

Within Temptation is timeless. Discovered this band back in 2009 during my college years and have never stopped listening since then. This band has created a soundtrack to pretty much every major event in my life, and I am truly greatful for their talent. Blessings to all you and thank you for such great music.
Same here. The first time heard Angels was when it was used with clips from Final Fantasy VI’s added FMV cutscenes. Sadly, I believe that video has been deleted as I cannot find it anymore, but it was my introduction to WT who changed my views on how metal and classical music can be blended so beautifully.
Once again this band delivers. Been a fan for years. Within Temptation has always made incredible music and this song is just another example of their excellence. Well done!

Why are we always destroying each other? For no reason, except to say that 1 is better than the other. When nobody can be better than himself or herself. And we must all raise each other up as a whole society. As one Earth nodded divided nation that we live under saying that we are better. Because we have more or better location. Instead, we should be raising each other up. And laying down our arms and standing for this mother. Earth we live on PS. Don't know why just wanted to share my thoughts with you. And hope you guys get to have a great rest of your year and a beautiful tour. And I can't wait till the day I get to see. You guys keep being the incredible band you guys are and never given or give up on your beautiful self.

Смотрю, тут многие начали выискивать символику разных стран. Откройте глаза и посмотрите шире, здесь же чёткий посыл - суть не меняется от перемены черт лиц и символов.
Проблема в том что вы не увидите ни статую свободы ни других символов страны развязавшей 80% всех конфликтов после второй мировой. Техника не в счет, лояльным странам она продавалась пачками. Повесточка зарешала.

@@UhYeahWhateverDude No, unfortunately I don't remember the exact day. I tend to remember the exact month, and with a little guesswork I'm fairly certain I've narrowed it down to a specific week. At that time here in Bulgaria there was mandatory military service for all young men, so in 2003 I served my country for an extension of 9 months. I'll spare you the details, but when I heard the Ice Queen song, I remember being excited about graduating from the training center and joining a combat unit. I know the exact date of this event, and from that I suppose I must have heard WT no more than a week earlier. I liked the song so much that I wrote down the name with the intention of checking the group online when I was sent to garrison. I've liked the band ever since and I'm happy that they managed to stay interesting for so many years.
