Just to clarify, Jennie and Jisoo were born in S. Korea, but Jennie spent five years in New Zealand. Rosé was born in New Zealand then moved to Australia when she was eight.

ROSÉ is an AUSSIE, well she was born in KOREAN family but born in NEW ZEALAND and grew up in AUSTRALIA so she called herself AUSSIE and speak with AUSSIE accent.
As one time LISA & her sang HOW YOU LIKE THAT in AUSTRALIAN accent (just for fun).
@@user-xn1yb1el2y Rosé is actually a KIWI (New Zealander), although she moved to Australia she kept her New Zealand citizenship (she corrected an interviewer who called her Australian) which is allowed between those two countries. I do agree that her accent is Aussie, while Jennie's is more New Zealand.

You should watch Blackpink Shutdown. It is their latest single but you will see lots of references to Whistle. Then compare Baby Monsters debut song, Batter Up. Boombayah was released after Whistle so is not really a debut song but it has all the hard beats of the YG DNA. Quite a different start for the 2 groups.
You're going to get tons of suggestions so I'll drop a fun fact instead. YG Entertainment didn't want to release "Whistle." They thought it was too wierd, and the girls and Teddy Park, their writer/producer, had to fight for it. I agree. It is wierd. A lot of their stuff has wierd instrumentation and time changes. That's one of the reasons I love the song. It doesn't bang you over the head, but just kind of sidles up to you and says "Hey Boy..." This and "Boom ba yah" for debut songs has got to be the most knockout debut of any group. Have fun...
and i think whistle is the pink side of blackpink itself after we got the boombayah in their debut. Boombayah was totally the black side of them😂
Sorry Rose' was born in New Zealand but grew up in Australia from age 7. Jennie was born in Korea but studied for 5 years, age 10 to 15 in New Zealand. Jennie speaks with a New Zealand accent. Rose' has a Australian accent but she is really a New Zealander by birth.
