Why not record the audio directly on the phone? I get the idea of use-specific AI, just not the need for the extra hardware. Modern phones have excellent microphones and [rocessing.
Agree, decent mobiles are very good at this, and I've used my phone for this reason as I've access to AI platforms to process the recording. However, I can't use that solution on a phone call, it has the AI processing side of things (i.e. no need for a different application). Saves on mobile battery life as well. Won't be for everyone, but for those interested it does what it does very well.
@@robhellenius-lt7bk yes it can record calls, although I've not tried this element out (and don't have an iPhone) so can't speak to how well it does it.
Get it via Amazon (affiliate link): geni.us/AmzPlaudNote
This is a fun little gadget. I wish my phone didn't already have the capability to do this tho.
@mark - Will it distribguish different particpants? Not by name, but Particpant #1 and so on?
Yes it will try and show which participant is speaking via "Speaker 1", "Speaker 2" etc

@@markjdraperiOS 18.1 can do it during calls.

Why would you need a separate device for this? A modern flagship phone would be able to do this perfectly.
Cool... another AI thing I don't need with a subscription...
