We're setting up our new store (mainly fot digital assets) and opted to go with EDD, but unfortunately it becomes complex to customize your store (unless you have some great developer) so we're moving to the Woocommerce. Great comparison though, both are wonderful.
My layout of woocommerce doesnt have the menu on the left side like inventory, shipping tab. Mine is the on the top. I did a test run and processed a order in the shopping cart checked out etc but it did not email the customer aka me. Both to the shop owner email and to my personal email as the customer and i checked all email settings were there I dont know why it doesnt send any email.

Hi Kesey! Easy Digital Downloads does offer an iOS app that allows you to track sales, customers, and reports. You are correct that we do not offer an app for creating products or managing sales and refunds, though it is certainly something we'd love to offer in the future. There is also an Android app for tracking sales and reports that was created by a 3rd party.

For that kind of thing I'd look at a Membership site using something like Paid Memberships Pro.

Installing two ecommerce packages at the same time is not recommended. They battle to the death. :)
