    Sounds fantastis but looks like a fantastic way to damge the inside or outside of the guitar. I've emailed the people at Toneweood and they say removing the x-brace may require "sawing" under the pads with a credit card, following by removing adhesive from the inside of the body. I also wonder about surface damage to the outside from the amp portion.

    If fitting the Magnet is impractical for a SlimLine guitar; could the Amp be attached using strips of Blu-Tack, please?

    • @lukegenesis
      @lukegenesis  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had a think about that option..
      It may actually work as the back of the amp has a mini subwoofer type of speaker.
      So in theory if you have a good adhesive/grip from the amp to back of guitar it’ll definitely work

    • @paulaungiers8734
      @paulaungiers8734 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You didn't adjust for the master gain on setup, so that's why you had feedback. I think a lot of new owners get into it so quickly, they often skip the setup guide for tuning in the settings. Overall though, it's a great little add-on.

    • @elijahpollard6828
      @elijahpollard6828 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @braveheart4603
      @braveheart4603 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@elijahpollard6828 are you sure you need a pick up ? my understanding was that this can operate without a pick up, it manipulates the sound acoustically by vibrating the soundboard of the guitar. like yamaha's trans acoustic range which also does similar effects acoustically.

      It would need to be an electric acoustic as the the tone wood amp takes the signal from the pickup and projects it back into the body of the guitar to create the effects that come out of the sound hole.
      So In layman’s terms,
      No signal going into the tone wood = no sound coming out of the tone wood = no beautiful reverb from the sound hole 😭
