Over kill! I have the regular Mojave V2 since it’s been out, I have been running it for months. The only thing that broke was a body support (weak spot). Out of the box the standard is a beast.
Hello matthew... so awesome you came and checked out my channel brother...I watch yours all the time... they definitely do fit but im also running the M2C racing +5 hex extenders but they will work without them... those badlands MX HP 2.8 is an incredibly tire there not short course style tires but work really well anyway👍👍

Im using the hot racing hinge pin mounts, all 4 lower ones. The one front upper is already aluminum in the EXB. Unless ur talking about the A arms? I dont care for GPM Parts... very low quality parts..👍👍

So there's a buch of opinions but i haven't tried any of them yet. I did pick up a set of proline badlands MX 2.8 belted tires and the 17mm hex offset for them because they come with the 12mm hex. There not SC style tires but a good match in size, I got them just in case I strip out the hex on the stock tires but they've been holding up so far...👍👍

@@lifetakesflight all proline 2.8 tires come with 12mm hex offset you have have to buy the proline 17mm hex offsets for the 2.8 tires and a sensored moter is a moter with a sensor wire that attaches to to ESC. There not that important in bashers because its really only noticeable at low speeds. It kinda just tells ur ESC what ur moter is doing👍👍
I did use the 19T. Just keep an eye on temperatures. I got mine on EBay. But Amain hobbys and alot of others carry tekno pinions. There one of the best pinion gears you can buy👍👍

@@fxrc3086 Awesome bro I appreciate it I built a UDR last year it was awesome when it ran but it was like a time bomb waiting to tear itself apart from the inside out lol I got a lot of skills repairing the udr but not enough run time so I got rid of it. Probably gonna go by the roller basher today at my local hobby shop

Thats a tough one my friend... ur right it does hinder the experience... RCdude81 has a video about it. U need to stuff some really dense foam under the mounts and gorilla tape or zip tie them on. Even doing that, doesn't guaranty it won't brake but it should help.👍👍
I went with a 1717 motor and MMX 8S I will run it on 6 s ...add Vitavon hub carriers front and back ......its a monster ...one of my wheels wobbles from new ....
@@fxrc3086 what size pinion did you install ...I got a 23 tooth installed it's not over heating will be adding some fans even though.....esc fan went out first run blades broke off changed to a 24 volt 50mm x50mm x 20mm fan running of battery directly...
@@fxrc3086 LOL... I think your a little naive about the fans on night power ESC they are a common problem...spend a little time on any channel you will see they never survived outings ..pinion size is not going to dictate there survival....
whats the top speed of your setup? and are the pinion gears and all electronics that you chose bashable and stay intact without damaging anything?. since rtr normally are not recommended to change to the 6-mph pinion gear so that's why im asking. AND also how much were all the electronics? was it worth it to get the exb version and build yourself or was it more worth it to get the rtr version of this? would appreciate if you answer my questions as i am looking to check if i should get the rtr or this. thanks :)
Those are all great questions... not sure what the top speed is with this pinion gear maybe around 60 to 70 mph... this setup is extremely bash worthy and definitely better then the RTR but it does cost more. I think its worth it... the RTR of this truck is still great and really rugged so is hard to go wrong.
All the Electronics I chose were around 600$ us and thats without the transmitter but there are really good options that dont cost as much like a hobbywing combo and a budget servo and receiver and transmitter
RTR are nice in a few ways... you get the RC and you can drive it right away... then over time You can learn about the car and slowly upgrade it if u still want to. It costs a bit more over time but its cheaper at first.

I Run 19t. 2200kv hobbywing max 5. I have burn up 3 motors. Now I'm getting 1650kv hobbywing. Anyone else has the hot motor. With the mojave. 2200kv motor. Running hot
So I think a 19T pinion on a 2200kv moter is alittle much for that set up. I always start low with my pinions like 12T or 14T and work my way up if the system is handling it without getting to hot.👍👍
If u want true power go with my setup. I have converted my savage. 4.6 from nitro to electric. An I can't even m give it full throttle. True power. Read my post. An set your truck up. There too post of mine here.
A child probably did put the stickers on. Think about where all this stuff comes from. Overall none of these are perfect even if you lined up stickers yourself.
Well that's one thing I don't have to ever worrie about I never run mine in or around water hell no I can't stand rusty looking things and bearings making that horrable sounds when there all rusty lol

Thank you my friend. I think it's just my lighting that makes the tires look shiny. When I filmed this everything was new so that helps also.

Mine had a couple sticker issues, not many. Just used a hair dryer and smoothed them out.

So those HR parts are for a Kraton. Are all Kraton parts interchangeable with the Mojave EXB?
so some are interchangeable with the kraton but the steering hubs and rear hubs are not but they are with the typhone and talion

That would work perfectly. The stock system is about the same power... but the max 8 and 2200kv is alot better system then stock👍👍

That should be good... just watch the temperatures and if it's getting too hot go down to a 16T but I think 17T should be fine

How do you cope with your body mounts? I broke both if my mounts after my first run.

@@fxrc3086 The biggest problem are the site tips, and not the centrale peace. I fastend a strong strip under the body mount.

All of my aarma cars stickers are the same way. As good as the cars are you would think the sticker work would be better

What's a sensored motor?
It's a moter with a sensor and sensor wire... it essentially allows the ESC to know what the moter is doing better then an unsensored moter👍👍
