There are a few glaring plot holes here. A captain is telling an admiral that he's going to represent Earth in negotiations? Remind me, which of them commands the other? And why do either of them think they can direct the civilian government? As to joining a society that thinks it's OK to invade weaker species just because they're weaker, I can't imagine why we'd choose to do that.
I enjoy these stories about humanities bravado and savagery

None of the stories in this genre are ever any good. However, at least the AI in this one is soothing. If it were reading some sort of ASMR story to help you sleep, there would be no problem.
I must of fallen asleep. From the fighting from the edge of the solar system to the fighting above Earth I missed the battles around Jupiter, Saturn and Mars. Not to mention the Moon. Starting to hate stories that jump around with no coherent symmetry.

Ah, cutting off supply lines in the middle of a battle while they are already bombarding the planet? If so, relying on transport ships to dock in the middle of said battle seems like a pretty big weakness.
And yeah, they are light years ahead of humans, who can fight their way into a capital ship with a frigate crew who are all somehow combat veterans, and who can find the central computer core and walk up to the mainframe with a few 'hacks'.
