Very nice design. thickness will be even all around. The problem with other presser versions are uneven thickness. One side it will be thick another side it will be thin. the only concern with this version is the base is slippery and rotating by one hand while holding the other one for grip will be challenging.
This is a complicated instrument. There are many user-friendly efficient machines out there in the market.

There are Hand press Roti maker in the market for several years. Some with heaters also.They eventually failed as the rotis remained quite thick even after pressing upto one's pressing capacity.This roti maker is better this way that one has not to force him in hard for increasing the roti size. No doubt the machine will not save any time compare to the time taken by our sisters and Mothers in the kitchen to make rotis. इसे जल्दी तो हाथ से बन जाए कोई मशीन ली ही तक जाती है जिससे जल्दी काम हो सके पर मुझे तो नहीं लगता है इससे जल्दी काम होगा

One suggestion for this machine that vertical centre bar have a two way threading after that the pressure plate will be coming very fast. Think & Try about it.

A very useful tool. Take two plastic covers , apply oil to one side of the covers then keep the dough in-between the covers and then press it . So there is no big issue to clean it.

Not a comfortable tool, the older version (Pressing Type)seems to be better.

Definitely it will be easy than old conventional pressing type .I have jipined extra 1" pipe in olerdr m/c for easy handling .by using extra handles it eill be easy for softy rotti b.cas layer is too thin .taste of barotta due to layering (வீச்சு பரோட்டா ?).id multi layering of rotti will be v.tasty. u know first quality கோ துமை will not come to us .we r using only 3,rd or 4rh quality கோ து.மை.hats off to u.
Laminated metal disc will be usefull instead of pkasic sheets .it eill be time consuming often plastic fixing and removing. Is it possible laminated metal disc?
