Ah yes occupying rent from the locals and driving up prices for you to be a digital nomad must be difficult!

you know since illegal immigrants occupied our country and took away housing possibilities for our locals while also harassing the local women, I am extremely happy to be a digital nomad who at least pays for the housing she is moving to.

I love how these type of comments are never really about the locals but about yourself not being able to do the same.

Nice apartment...I will say here in Madrid you would be paying more. You are right prices have gone up; however, cost of living is less expensive than the US.
    Love the plants ❤

Nah Barcelona is way more expensive than Madrid.

@@fatisummer9106I live in Barcelona centre and I’m from Madrid . I can tell Barcelona is way expensive. By the way I was living in Dubai and is just ridiculous the prices in Spain big cities after covid. Middle East was expensive but because you live like in a hotel with swimming pool, gym, concierge etc . But in Barcelona and Madrid you will be spending more than 1200€ for a old as hell , Non even elevator not parking building
Unfortunately salary range in BCN is 1200-1500€ so most of the locals have to go out of the city and share apartments until they are retired. Sharing is not a students things anymore

And the salaries are the same for the last 17 years. Living by yourself it's impossible, only for expats that get paid for international companies

Good luck finding a long term rent in Barcelona! And I have no idea where or what you are buying for food, but let me know cause 300 a month is really cheap!

This apartment is long term but yes finding long term here now is much harder. I shop at Lidl and Bon preu weekly and for my boyfriend and I we only spend 60-70 euros per week!

i know i’ve looked before for unfurnished apts, etc. and i’ve seen a bunch come without kitchen appliances - how often did you see that happening and did you have to buy a fridge, oven/stove, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. for your apartment?

I don’t usually, it was a mistake as that’s how you would pronounce it in English. I know you say it different, was just an honest mistake. There isn’t a reason to try and put someone down because of it
