    Thank you very much. I just bought the MPC key 61 and I’m trying to learn how to sample and do everything but I’m kind of lost. Thank you for helping me find my way around my sampling. Great job. I love your contact. Keep up the great work. You are a great teacher and I like I take that back. I love how you put the camera to show the details of what you’re doing instead of just clicking, clicking, clicking like I see so many other people doing keep up the great work brother.

    How do you add them to your keys instead of the drum pad ?

    • @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz
      @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey! After the step @8:50 in this video (where you convert the sample and select New program using slices) , you should be able to use the pads OR using the keys. The sample will be sliced in both the pads and keys , in this video I used the pads because that's my personal preference ✊🏾

    Hey, can you sample someone directly singing in? Like if I had a singer in front of me, and I directed them to sing something specific into a mic, can i connect that mic to the MPC Keys and sample them directly into the MPC?

    • @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz
      @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You sure can ! Plug your mic directly in to the Mpc, on thr sequence panel make sure you have audio selected and then setup your inputs as desired . I may do a tutorial on that very soon ! ✊🏾

    Im on the fence wit buying this machine. Do you know if its possible to take a piece of one of the chops & assign it to the keys, to get a full range of notes/semitones from that one chop but on the keyboard.
    Buuut NOT from the sound library/kits included wit this machine, but from a record instead. I have yet to see anyone do this.
    Im thinkin it aint possible. I hope it is. Cause thats the last thing keepin me on the fence. And im still in the dark, as to whether or not its possible.
    Dope content. Dope beat, maaad smooth!!!

    • @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz
      @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @rootherhymejedi9871 To be honest I never tried assigning sample chops to the keys but you are able to assign any chop to any of the pads . You can change semitones of any chop you want with the "warp" feature on the main track page where your chops are. I'll put together a tutorial about little ins and outs like that soon so stay tuned and thanks for checking out my content , much appreciated ✊🏾

      @@BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz ok cool. Goodlooking.
      Im basically just looking to create custom chord progressions out of 1 or 2 second record samples. Like a piece of a solo bassline. And then use all the note variations of that sample on the keyboard to play them harmoniously with a melody.
      Anyway, I'll keep my eyes peeled for new content. Thanks again.

    How did you plug your phone up? With a USB?

    • @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz
      @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used a C-Cable adapter. One end went into my Android phone and the other end was connected to a Y-Cable splitter that went into input 1 and 2 on the MPCKey61

    can you use the keys to chop and playback the sample?

    • @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz
      @BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz  ปีที่แล้ว

      You sure can ! I like to use the keys to playback the sample when I chop my sample up into 32 bars , because obviously there is not 32 pads on the Mpc so using the keys gives me more flexibility to play around with the sample.
      After you set your regions like I did in this video (in the "chop" section of the sample edit menu) hit the very first key to the left of the board and you will be able to use the keys for your now chopped up sample . I may do a tutorial on this topic soon ✊🏾

    Yo im old and the last MPC I used was the MPC 2000XL. I used to midi my Korg Triton to my MPC and use the korg for baselines and melodies along with using a turn table to sample wax. Can I do all of that just using this keyboard alone?
