Well... it seems like the guy did this many many many times... and he's still alive and still got his job... ... ... that's what I would repeat to myself all along the ride.
I say this to you foreigners, in Campania especially in Naples who drives knows how to do it well. If you know how to drive in Naples you can do it all over the world. Lo dico a voi stranieri, in Campania sopratutto a Napoli chi guida lo sa fare bene. Se sai guidare a Napoli lo puoi fare in tutto il mondo.
This is a very hard drive if your in a big car or bus. My father is a very good driver and when we got our rental car(from one of my grandfathers friends), he gave us a minibus. We asked if he had anything else and he said no. Along the whole ride we must've dented the minibus at least 8 times.
I'm Italian and this is the translations of what he said: "spaghetti spaghetti pizza most famous here in Amalfi my socks smell like provolone from all this driving olive oil mama mia mafioso sleep with the fishes"
Infamous only because they think people can drive only in big american roads... good driver on the phone with one hand he deserve a medal! Good job man!
I went on an embije ride on here few years ago. Amazing experience! Wasn’t really that scary although i did have to skid stop at one point going downhill.
I use to come to this place for holiday.the driver here is really skilled and driving so fast.i cannot watch or enjoy the road I feel very scared specially in the other side of the road.where u can see the hilly landscape.so I prefer to take boat even though it’s more expensive than the bus.but many tourist enjoyed the ride
Don’t be fooled by the beautiful scenery. This is the good way of driving everywhere in South Italy. It is even scarier and more dangerous and narrower in Naples, indeed. With similar roads sidehill and a looooot more threats. This is the only way of driving to trade transportation with relaxation. Do it differently and you cannot hold such a job for 3 mere days.
Frank Branco in costiera amalfitana non ci sono parcheggi perché non c’è spazio, lei parcheggerebbe la sua auto a chilometri di distanza dalla sua abitazione per poi farsela a piedi? O si adatterebbe al contesto? Le auto parcheggiate malamente dai turisti vengono rimosse a decine dai vigili, quelle dei residenti no altrimenti dovrebbero trasferirsi perché diventerebbe invivibile

Travel tip. Took the regular"city" bus rather than the tour bus. Same sights- a fraction of the cost.
