The only issue with Russ on the Lakers was the fit. To be honest, the fit wasn’t even great for LeBron, considering they both thrived on floor spacing and perimeter defenders…
The issue is Westbrook sucks. It's not surprising the Lakers got better after removing him. I was actually mad they were allowed to do that. I was hoping the Lakers would've stayed in the lottery and given their pick to the Pels

As a King's fan I will always be a Hali fan. Kid is insanely talented with a very high ceiling. The trade was for the better for him and the Kings (we had too many good guards), but it will always leave a bitter taste.

Hoping Russ would guest in the near future
i started watching russ around the time he was playing with melo and pg on the thunder. He played his heart out every time and I appreciated the hell out of it. It's a rare quality to go 100 miles an hour for 82 games. However, it became obvious to me what his problem was. When there is a problem and Russ needs to adjust, he always without fail adjusted by playing harder, and not smarter. He would do the same thing... but more. If he was already going 100 mph, he'd adjust to 110 or more. And adjusting that way may win you a game, great for the regular season. Not going to win you a series.
The only difference between OKC russ and LA is now everybody's watching. The criticism was understandable but the hate and ridicule was always too far. But imo his experience with LA made him grow. It feels like he at least is trying to figure things out on the floor. If kawai and PG can at least be healthy for the playoffs, I think you would be a fool to ignore them.

He brings so much energy to the game. I love watching him play not only for his talent but also I always feel good afterwards. He plays with joy and I was thrilled when he went to the Clippers because seeing him with LeBron he wasn't himself. It was if he lost his love of the game and not seeing him smiling and enjoying himself was heart breaking as this man has such a big heart.
I'm rooting for him and the Clippers and hoping this will be their season. Kawaii, Paul and Russell that is an awesome trio.
