I have seen so many great table tennis matches in my life but this is one is the best match I have ever seen. The Ping Gods have come down to earth and taken possession of the bodies of these two players to show us the ultimate table tennis ! No one will be able to play at such a level with such intensity on both forehand and backhand. Bless up !

F'n Slow yeah, 2 world championships, Olympic singles gold, 4 or 5 ittf grand finals and being close to breaking samsonov's recpord of world tour wins at the age of 29 is obviously overrated.

Had he played in the early 00's he would have had a career trajectory similar to Chen Qi a player who had an even bigger forehand but didn't achieve much.

He is the first one who could beat ma long if he has another chance. He was even more fearless than Ma long in this game ! Fantastic ! I never saw another attacker could really do damage to Ma Long before. This was 2011. I don't see him any more ever since. could he be at a bar drinking to death and pitied himself in 2016 ? Truly Bojan Tokic is a great competitor to Ma Long apart from other Chinese players like Fan Zhendong, Zhang Jike or Xu Xin. The reason I personally like to watch Bojan play with Ma Long is that Bojan always doesnt plays short, he also plays long shots and I like his backhand shots too. I am a little bit disappointed with the second set, when he just lost a set due to service error :( But finally, MaLong wins the sixth Game .... and is unbeatable.
Everyone needs to chill out about the apologizing for the edge/net ball thing. You don't get to see the whole scene between points. You only get to see Ma Long cheering. Tons of players cheer winning the point, and then will apologize as they are returning to the table for the next point. The Chinese tend to always be polite, so there is no reason to jump to conclusions. That having been said, this was a great match, Ma Long really had to work for the win.
@molitatron We didn't see the whole time between the points. A lot of players will celebrate, but then right before they are about to be back at the table, they will lift up a arm or paddle to apologize. Net and edge balls are just a reality of the game, the pros have seen it a million times I don't think its that big of a deal
