@ the first part in which you say “they SHOULD have done a better job… having previous experience with PGR” is like saying they should have been the same story telling, there is a huge difference in linear story telling and open world story telling, I’ll give you a similar example, Armored Core 6 and Elden Ring, both games are made by FromSoftware, linear story telling (PGR and AC6) can only tell the story through missions in a very limited amount of space, aside from cutscenes and dialogue missions, open world story telling (WuWa and Elden Ring) gives much more freedom to tell a story, Npc quest, item descriptions, environmental storytelling and more, both games can’t be exactly the same, they can borrow aspects of each other, but each game are their on standalone game, never meant to be the same (quick mention, FromSoft first game were the Armored Core games before Souls games), plus, let me remind you that a lot of characters in PGR drool a lot for the Commandant (even male characters) Now I do understand the frustration on the whole CBT of WuWa drama on how the change the entire storyline, but calling WuWa a cash-grabber is very insulting on the Devs that have been working overtime to make the game better and better in every patch, both games are made with passion and love, if WuWa had actually become a cash-grabber like you say, a lot of the QoL updates that we have right wouldn’t even exist and the amount of rewards would have been lesser to the point of having to forcefully pay money, the game is still new, we don’t even know where the story is going, just like it happened to PGR, the story went to fighting a corrupting and dangerous virus, to fighting against inter dimensional entities and higher beings. I found someone that actually likes ChangWHO and WHOfia. Also, Gacha coatings are built different, they change Skill Effects and Sound Effects and even Intro and Outro animations, some SFX coatings are paylocked but Kuro does release SFX Coatings with their own Gacha System which you can use Black Cards on, or they'll just give you the SFX coating completely for free like Alisa Echo's Police Skin (one of the best SFX Coatings imo) Alisa Echo and Ayla Kaleido 5:58 is also free in the dorm shop via the currency you get from doing commissions about 100k is needed to get the full character, both are meta s ranks as well so pls get them when you have enough currency saved up.
PGR is amazing, I agree but WuWa is also. I love both of the game (PGR and bit more since…. 21 is in there literally no argument there lol (she’s my first SSS+ just because, and my first A rank (That I pulled for))
The very best part of PGR is that you can play it on PC/Laptop with 2GB RAM, Gen 10 CPU with Integrated GPU, and the forkin' game will still run smoothly in the highest settings available. We call it "PGR/Kuro Black Magic". This was possible because it doesn't have world exploration or some open world system with bigahh size and so much unnecessary bits to render, and instead it is focused on combat - the actual gameplay, and I am loving it. And what's even more fantastic is that the story is archived, which is huge and important for me. Additionally, the game is not overwhelming. You don't have to spend tons of your time, play everyday, and get yourself addicted to it, to the point that you're turning into some crazy non-touching grass forkin' loser. Just login, do dailies and weeklies, check the events and play some. No pressure, super easy. Your support constructs even tells you to take some break and give some time for yourself. Is PGR the best? Probably not. Because most players nowadays prefers incredibly good open world, free exploration games with an unfathomable graphics quality that only their 4090s and other super son of a fnckng expensive cards can handle... and call themselves a gamer... cause maybe that's what quilifies you as one. PGR might not be the best, but this was the only gacha game that made me feel and experience something different, something that is unique.They stay humble, and they just want to focus to deliver their players such an amazing experience. They don't want to purposely compete, and rather they just want to show people that they have such a great game. People will argue that gacha and "passion" does not come together, cause apparently they only want your money, but I've been playing this game for more than 2 years now, and Kuro tells me different. Kuro loves their games, and we players can feel it. I've been telling this to everyone ever since before, that in PGR you won't spend a dime cause it feels like it's necessary, like it's some kind of compulsory BS, but rather you will pay them money out of appreciation. The company cares about their players, thus the players shows them respect in return. That's why there's only a very few that hates Kuro and their games down to the earth, and they probably have some kind of issues inside their head. I like this comment but tbh i did get a bit overwhelmed by all those different events. Also while combat system is amazing, 90% of content is just a dps check. Do the most amount of dmg in the time you have. I personally dont like that at all and its why i dont play it anymore, even tho combat is great you barely get to enjoy it. Its a good game, i would recomend it if you dont dizlike dps check games
8:13 Besides can be used to buy Ayla and Echo's shard and weapon coating blueprint, the commision system in the dorm can also be used to buy hypertune chip (has a shape like blue and orange circle), which is one of important resources that doesn't exist in the material event. So if someday you've bought all the shards (and blueprints if you want to), you might can consider to start buy these chips
fun fact:pgr also has recently announced a dmc 5 collab also ps: about the guideline to weapons of characters sometimes its better to look up guides on the pgr website since most of the recommended builds are janky-ish(some are good but some are just plain on weird honestly)
About 6 stars weapon you do have other options to chose and once you've unlocked a resonance you can change it whenever you want without any cost. Also you can use any 6 star weapon to resonance the Feral's signature for example, and not only a copy.
Another thing I really like is that they give A-ranks the same treatment as S-ranks except for the damage multipliers. Each and every one of them has a whole patch dedicated to them, their own story chapter, 6star sig weapon, nice coatings and their gameplay can be more fun than some of the premium S-ranks.
Subscribed! PGR was my first Kuro game, and I did play Wuthering Waves until recently. PGR just feels better, I've had a better experience, and my PC can actually handle PGR more than WuWa. Hard agree on chapter 8 onward being way, way better. I loved Wuthering Waves but my hard drive is happier now. 🤣21 was my first SSS and I also want SSS Feral. Chrome Glory will always have my heart though. Oh, and Lee: Hyperreal too. I absolutely love how PGR's building works. It's so much better and respectful of your time - you can build everyone day one if you've saved up enough. You can PULL anyone day one if you've saved up enough. So good to see another PGR enjoyer!

As a Global Day One player who hasn't skipped a day, I can see PGR being overwhelming to some, just keep in mind that it's not a race so just take your time & pace yourself accordingly (players are given an ample amount of time each patch after all), but greedy isn't something I'd describe Kuro/PGR; if anything, I'd accuse them of giving out TOO MUCH (seriously, free S-Ranks on a regular basis & they're all meta? You don't have to tell me twice). Heck, this game's so F2P-Friendly that I don't really need to spend money nor whale in this game; the only reason I do so is to show Kuro my appreciation, & even then I only ever buy Monthly Pass A because that is all I need to guarantee every S-Rank AND their signature weapon (on top of doing my dailes & weeklies which hardly consume 5mins of my time).
@Sephy723 I'll definitely try to take it slow. Not that I have too much time to play anyway and I got into the game mainly for the story (but the other characters are just too cool/hot to ignore). I was already planning on downloading it and then I heard there's a Black Rock Shooter Collab, which was my first anime ever watched when I got to know what anime is. I downloaded the game same evening. Unfortunately due to low amounts of time available and early game roadblock I only managed to upgrade BRS twice IIRC and was lucky enough to get her gun twice as well. So maybe she'll be lacking in comparison to some other meta characters, I just like the fact that I can play a cool cyborg game as a character from my childhood.
I quit and came back after a year then quite again then came back at Nier Collab then quite again then joined again on Nier Collab rerun and then quit and joined in Bianca's patch and now playing everyday

@Sephy723 I'll definitely try to take it slow. Not that I have too much time to play anyway and I got into the game mainly for the story (but the other characters are just too cool/hot to ignore). I was already planning on downloading it and then I heard there's a Black Rock Shooter Collab, which was my first anime ever watched when I got to know what anime is. I downloaded the game same evening. Unfortunately due to low amounts of time available and early game roadblock I only managed to upgrade BRS twice IIRC and was lucky enough to get her gun twice as well. So maybe she'll be lacking in comparison to some other meta characters, I just like the fact that I can play a cool cyborg game as a character from my childhood.
I quit and came back after a year then quite again then came back at Nier Collab then quite again then joined again on Nier Collab rerun and then quit and joined in Bianca's patch and now playing everyday
PGR combat is what Wuwa WOULD be.
