The LO paper was totally ridiculous. There was very little in the paper that learners were prepared for in class. There was a disconnenct between the exam guideline and the content of the paper. My son had 5 distinctions but his LO mark was also one of his lowest marks.
That life orientation teacher needs to be fired. . .how could you give someone a level 6 when you are expecting all distinctions from them, for a subject that is not even written an exam for.
When he said what he said at 2:17.... I didn't need to hear anything further. He is Mature. He will do well in his Academic life and mostlikely other aspects in life as well. All the best to Him.

In all honesty, psychological concepts and theories just build on to what you were taught from first year. You have to sharpen your academic writing skills, because there's going to be a lot of essays. If you at least do your readings in advance it makes it easier to follow when the lecturers present the lessons and if you understood something differently you have a chance to ask, because on thing that is different in varsity is that they expect you to keep up. They don't usually go back to what has been taight
