Quite a bit faster than a stock S2000 (and E30 M3 for that matter). 350 kilos difference. Shows you just how important weight is. And compare this to modern car makers that just keep putting more powerful and complicated engines into cars to compensate for weight...
Not gonna happen, Honda engines are swapped into all sorts of cars from Ferraris to Porsches but a not Honda engine has never been swapped to a Honda with some exceptions like a LS (stupid imo) or maybe there is one out there with another engine but very very uncomment, usually all similar engines are way worse or way too expensive or not reliable. My best friend is a Honda mechanic with a own Honda workshop and dealership, he swaps engines a lot in their racecars but never would he ever consider a not Honda engine in a Honda ... and he is not a Honda fanboy, he enjoys all sorts of cars.
As soon as I saw the engine swap I wanted to hate this video...... But once the lap started, the noise, look on Thomas face and performance of the car I just had to love it! Fantastic car and great lap! 👌
What a beautiful car!❤❤ - it‘s more than 20 years ago, i selled my nearly ruined E30 325i. 240‘000km, rusty floor, katalyzer rusted, noisy fuelpump, oil consumption etc.. buying it for 2800 swiss Fr, „selled“ it for export for 500 Fr. ….sometimes i get sentimental over that, specially when watching videos like this - sweet pain memories 🥰

I had to watch this twice for the pure perfection that it is. Beautiful car, awesome swap and a great drive as always Misha! Absolutely nailed it with this one!
*Beautiful. Personally I think 240'ish bhp is just about ideal for the chassis and certainly enough to be quick and fun. I modified my OE engine (s14/2.3) with Schrick cams, carbon airbox and standalone ecu to get that same sort of power, but limited revs to 8.5k for longevity. I stuck with the OE dogleg box so only 5 speed but with Samsona shifter. Sadly poor health forced me to sell my E30 M3 but it remains the most fun car I ever owned and I still miss it today.*

This is perfection for me. If I sell the impreza this is going to be the next build for me. K24 e30 m3 replica. Can’t wait for the itb noise. 😎😎
why? The K24 is a tractor Engine! This car need to rev. for the spirit it has to deliver. An E30 needs a Aluminium Engine with a minimum Bore of 95mm and a stroke smaler 87mm. Thats your task to find a propper version of the specs.
Just put in F22C from facelifted S2K model and tune it a bit. You will squeeze 260-270hp from it with ease.
damn, this is my dream car. Seeing it from a fellow Polish guy makes it even more inspirational to keep grinding for it. About the F20C swap: it makes sense, but I would love to keep the car fully stock (with some safety features installed)
Bardzo ładny projekt🎉
Fajnie polska morde tu zobaczyc na tym kanale :D
Besides the cars and the noise and all that, one of the best part of watching these videos for me is the smile of pride that Misha gives the owners of these cars. You can really feel that for them it’s like seeing their babies come first at school or something 😂 So beautiful and heart warming. I’ve seen Misha in multimillion Supercars and right down the what you can call cheap little shit box builds, but no matter how expensive or inexpensive, Misha always show appreciation for the car and give the owners that smile of pride. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Piekna E30 !!!Polska😊😊😊!!!
This car is incredible... it's inspired me. And it just so happens to be a fully legal california swap so this is now at the top of my future build plans
Such a beautiful car !!! Love ❤️ the Honda engine swap, makes perfect sense to me !!! Vtec baby 😜👍🇦🇺
That dash was intergrated to perfection. Love the BMW colour contrast stitching. Excellent build.
what a sound! 🤯🤯
Misha gets me every time with that opening straight kicking that clutch like a dead horse and then dropping it like a bad habit haha! He's so hard on gear even that kids old clapped out Volvo he blew up lol
Quite a bit faster than a stock S2000 (and E30 M3 for that matter). 350 kilos difference. Shows you just how important weight is. And compare this to modern car makers that just keep putting more powerful and complicated engines into cars to compensate for weight...
Speedo seems to exaggerate significantly probably due to smaller wheels than an S2K
A pleasure to watch Misha, thank you. Your driving was on fire and a beautiful car. Great watch, cheers.
Can't wait to see the corresponding s14 m swapped s2k😂
imagine wanting to hate this build. what a sick and twisted world yours is.
I was being slightly sarcastic........ Lighten up pal 😂
What a plucky little car! Loved the emotion. That redline! Somewhere a purist is shaking their fists! 😅
What a beautiful pedal work by Misha, amazing!
Very nice swap 👌 Nice drive Misha. Why was the corner after mercedes arena cut out of the video??
love the slight smile the owner does when they pass the new bmw 4:45
It needs about another 60-70bhp then it would be spot on, it's way too flat at the bottom end.
agree
Agree. Maybe if he fixed the rear tail light (bulb) he might gain 10bhp 😜
I ❤ how we can hear misha smacking the throttle to the floor😂
Needs a supercharger then it would be a killer.. Not sure how i feel about a F20C in a "E30" but kool!
This engine have 250hp (Fylwheel) and e30 is very light weight car this combo is perfect
One of the best engines ever and a perfect combo. Awesome car!
Subaru in the background 🤔
It is mine😂
Love the foot cam
Now we need someone to hand over Misha a proper E30 with the screaming M20
Love the owner's smug expression when passing the newer bmws
OMG, no please not... A honda engine in an E30 M3... nooooo!
The best is just seeing you absolutely rip past Porsches through corners. That thing handles ! Great driving as always
10:48 i was hoping to see yellow bungee cords holding that BMW together cause thats what it looked like. Guess not. This BMW M3 that guy got is a sweet machine he put together. Very nice sounding and no super noisy muffler.
Loved the owners expression , awesome car.. and you are an amazingly driver
l Love this so much as I owned and daily drove a s2000 for 10 years. The engine is the best part. Old tech perfected in such a way it still shows how good it is 23 years later
The car sounds so good with induction growl being the main part of it, instead of a booming exhaust. Love it!
Great engine choice. That motor can go like that all day long. No fancy sodium filled valves and other expensive and finicky parts like the s14. Crazy performance and ultimate reliability.
I had to watch this twice for the pure perfection that it is. Beautiful car, awesome swap and a great drive as always Misha! Absolutely nailed it with this one!
Match made in heaven it seems....9000rpm F20C in an E30 M3😍😍🤤 950kg is just perfect and cluster is the business too👌🫡
What a beautiful car, and what a well done swap, holy cow! This is my dream car!
It’s one thing to build a sick car, it’s another to have it finished so well with lovely stitching! MAGNIFICENT ❤
Die Position des Motors, einfach perfekt! So geht Automobilbau. Wenn das Grundkonzept stimmt, kann es nur gut fahren. Da muss man Agilität und Neutralität nicht tricksen! Respekt. Der Motor perfekt gewählt, erhält die Seele des Ursprungs 👌
...really really enjoyed this lap!
The confidence gain as well, from such a well balanced car👌
Moving that engine further backward as much 👌👌👌
Wow what a beautiful ride with a 1985/92' old school BMW🤘🔥 at its limit with perfect grip (no yellow flag then😱) I liked this ride a lot! congratulations to the owner for his prepared little animal👊and I would put first the GREAT MISCHA who, in every weather condition, gives us the best to see and hear🤝👑
The best of both worlds, bmw and K20. Super car, you could see how well balanced it was as Misha drove it pretty flat out but appeared at ease. Well, well done to the owner
F20
You are correct
Wow that thing moves especially on the down hill sections! This really shows how the driver makes the car and not the other way around. You passed much much faster cars like nothing ! Awesome car and awesome driving.
