Steel Wheels are fine especially running on Rocks but Taxes the Battery with additional weight. Found that out with All Steel wheels on my British Challenger and Yes, the Wheels can be Painted. I did. I also have a German Leopard that like the Challenger has Steel Tracks but the Leopard has Steel Idlers but Plastic Painted Road Wheels. So far on Grass, no problem. I also Lube the Gears with a small amount of Lucas Red and Tacky Grease. They run easy and quiet. Also sealed my Gearboxes from dirt.
reminds me of U.S. Marine Corps M1A1 Abrams and Norwegian Leopard 2A4 live training exercise in 2014 title "Powerful M1 Abrams & Leopard 2 Tanks Training in Wintertime" and "M1A1 Tanks Drifting on Snow"there is also a CV90 IFV , man I wish there's also RC about that
I could watch this all day! I dont know what it is, but ever since i was a kid, i love watching them on snow and ice.
