In the UK, this was the 'golden' era of Y&R, as far as characters, story lines, background music etc goes. I wish more complete episodes from the 80's and 90's existed! Thank you for uploading this :)
My Favorite part of this Episode to See Poor Victor peaking through the Window out in the Cold Snow Watching Jack spend time with his Son And Ex Wife Nikki who he still loved
Ryan meant well but he was a Rescuer. He always went for Women who were "Needy", had no confidence in themselves and wanted to be reassured that they were smart, beautiful, and worthy.
I remember hearing Andy Williams "Where Are You Going My Little One" and then Victor thoguht of Victoria. In a eerie coincidence Marie Osmond is now on CBS as part of The Talk and her Brothers got their first big break on The Andy Williams Show as backing performers. Andy Williams pretty much "rescued" them since they were rejected for Ed Sullivan and The Lawrence Welk Show. Mal Young who got fired from the Show was a Legend in the UK with EastEnders and they have had the saddest Xmases ever. Someone loses their Pub & Home which is their livelihood, someone gets kicked out of their house, or a Marriage Betrayal comes to light.
I really felt Sorry for Victor on this Episode when he peep through the Window to See Jack soacking up moments with his Son on Christmas Damn You Jack Abbott
No don't blame Jack. Victor & Nikki were already divorced and in his own way he was giving The Newman Children a Proper Xmas, something Victor probably didn't have growing up. Also if you look at The Abbots, they are more tight knit. Remember when they would have their Breakfasts and how much fun they had.
