The Warning rocked it! They did covers of this and a number of other classic era rock songs in preparation for the Mother of All Rock festival - they were on stage during the announcement event for that festival and played covers of each band as it was announced. Usually they were short versions, but it still showcased their range of talent, and got them noticed which led to their opening for some big names. Later, they were the opening act at the festival itself, playing their own music.
The poster on the wall behind Paulina is for the first Mother of All Rock Festival in Monterrey, MX, their hometown. They were invited to be the opening band for the festival. This is a few months after releasing their first studio album "XXI Century Blood" and recording "Atlas Rises" in their home studio, they call "The Warning Cave", btw that is worth watching. They said that "Atlas Rise" was a tribute to Metallica and would be their last cover, but they were so excited after being invited to the festival they played songs from each of the bands in the festival, they only recorded this one though. The line up was Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Tesla, Vince Neal, Buck Cherry. This would be the third time that year playing the same stage with Def Leppard. TW opened for them in Mexico City. When the manager for DL saw these three young girls walk on stage he was curious. He didn't know them and though it was cute and they were just going to do a karaoke thing. But he was floored when they really played original songs with live instruments. After their set DL invited TW to open for them in Guadalajara. This video link is to a person who has chronicled TW from their early days. This video covers 2017 when they opened for DL: th-cam.com/video/BiPuHjrWBgs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=b4KfxMqgZL4X-VeS
That poster behind Pau is from when they opened for Def Leppard in their hometown. It was so hot that Ale and Pau got heatstroke? The concert presentation is in their channel it's about 25 min Dani looked like a rockstar.@@TheLionsReaction
@@SDsailor7 The poster was for the Mother of All Rock Festival, yes, the one where they were the first act in the hot afternoon and barely finished their set.
@NoSmokingDogs Yup you are correct, I could not remember the name of the festival. I liked how Dani went out into the cat walk and did her solo like a true rock star. Even the heat could not stop them.
I honestly preferred this guitar to the prs guitars she plays now. Spearfish…. Luthier made, removable aluminum neck with multiscale fretwork. Light, portable, one of the greatest guitars ever made
She’s said, particularly referring to her tours here in Canada, that the PRS is the most stable road guitar she has. It’s gone from +30C, in LA to -15C, in Calgary within the space of 10 days. That’s rough on top tier guitars.
There is only fancam footage but yesterday in Mexico City, Dany and Pau got on stage with Dead Poet Society to perform DPS' song "Hurt". They killed it!! (Just so you know Dead Poet Society has remixed the song, adding The Warning to the vocals. The audio on that is great as it is a studio mix.) They surprised the band as it didn't sound like they knew Dany and Pau were there.

DPS knew the girls were there, they hinted at it in an IG post if I recall one of the comments. They played it up as if they didn't know. Gotta say, their entrance was epic. Also saw comments that said they went to this show just in case TW made an appearance. Got their money's worth, 2/3 of TW were there.
@@NoSmokingDogs I'd go as far as saying that they knew most of the audience expected something like that too. So, almost an in-joke between DPS and the audience. And whoa did the crowd go wild at that entrance!
Not exactly sure of their ages here. But Ale is still playing a 3/4 size mustang. Now, of course, she is exclusively signed Spectre. She is probably around 14 here. If you listen real closely, you can hear Dany running 2 separate channels with the slightest delay on the left side.

Def Leppard was one of their early band fans. They had an awesome time touring together. I'm glad they never opened for Motley Crue. Love the music and I've seen them live multiple times, but not great role models for young people getting into the business.
@@davejohnston2197 yeah. The Mother of All Rock Festival was just a couple days after they opened two shows for Def Leppard. The first big band to have them as an opening band.
I was never a Crue fan, mainly because their skill level wasn’t very high. They were an attitude band, and that is ok, Crue was just not for me. If they played and sung this well, I would have adored them. The ladies really show out well on this song (hell, not just on this song, to be honest). Fun reaction! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

The guitar is a Rick Toone Spearfish. It has a removeable aluminum neck! (And a killer tone.)

Back when ale looked very grunge alternative, and pau was colourful punk rock, and Dany with her short darker hair lol
