Not recommended if it is load bearing, it would not be as strong as the 2 x 8. If it is non load bearing it would work because you are basically just filling the space.
When calculating the 2 1/2 inches for height of door rough opening am i including the height of the bottom plate that has yet to be cut out in that measurement? Or do i make the cut leave it 2 1/2 and there will be a 1 1/2 gap under door after i cut out the bottom plate? In this scenario there is only a subfloor.
Can I stack tow by four on top of each to create 2by8 around 19 cm 2x4 hear is slightly bigger then yours

The height should be the height of the door it self plus 2 1/2 inches.
