Hi, unfortunately it didn't work for me. I don't know what I could have done wrong. I did run it twice after the first time failed. When I go to the server through powershell but through a broweser I get HTTP ERROR 502. Can you help troubleshoot?
Usually this happens if you have downloaded a different version of foundry for the server. Make sure to use the Linux, node JS version of foundry in the timed URL.
I have found the issue. I'm on Ubuntu v18 and the minimum spec for foundry is v22. I'll need to figure out how to update the nodistro node and then I'll be able up upgrade the system. The problem I have is that there are 30 versions and I don't know yet how to make them install.

I tried sudo apt dist-update and sudo apt dist-upgrade followed by the command sudo do-release-upgrade but it keeps telling me to 'Please install all available updates for your release before upgrading.' I'm not very knowledgeable on Ubuntu so I'll keep on looking to get the system updated.
Ah, yeah you may have to do sudo apt update followed by sudo apt upgrade, before the dist upgrade. That should do it, hopefully. If that fails, you may want to create a new instance with Ubuntu 22, as the install of foundry takes about 5 mins to do again. All the best and I hope it works.

So good of you to do this for people my friend. I muddled through and with some troubleshooting help from the Foundry discord I updated last week, but was hoping there'd be a guide like this. Ended up rolling back realizing V12 wasn't ready enough for me, good learning experience!

You may be able to dist upgrade to 22. Without changing anything else, that should upgrade everything with it.
