Thank you, President Nelson! This talk was given 2 years ago, but I realise that I needed it right now, on a stressful morning in september 2023. Spiritual tranquility rested over me as I listened to your divinely-inspired words. Oh that the world would come and listen to a prophet's voice!

When reading the prophet’s talks online, it’s good to follow/click on the footnotes. You find he often gives broader context.
For instance, in this talk, he quoted words from D&C 45: 32, but in the footnotes, he also included verses 31 and 33.
Verse 31 talks about Covid, a sickness that has emptied/desolated much, including temples, economies, and hearts. The desolating sickness has also led to a scourge/whip to restrict us from God-given liberties (e.g. Shutdowns, curfews, mandates, expanded government powers, etc.)
He also included verse 33 after the quoted verse 32. This extra verse foreshadows some upcoming challenges.
The Lord’s words will all be fulfilled.

We listened to this talk for FHE with my mother in law. I would pause the talk at these points that he would reference the scriptures and then we read each of the scriptures he referenced. It was a great experience. My mother in law was surprised that she has never done that before. We also memorized D&C 78:17-18. Great verses!

I considered my home as one of the luck family to have a sacrament served in our house during lockdown which took more than four month. Thanks to our heavenly father's 'plan, the prophet and the church that made it possible for us to be closer to our heavenly father, as the prophet said, the feeling I and my family had that day was like having Jesus with us in front of us.. amen
I have grown closer to Jesus Christ and His Restored Church during this pandemic. I read the Book of Mormon and D&C again. I learned much more. Thank you and to all our leaders. Love you all.

I Love our Prophet!! What Wisdom. But, He speaks the Simple Truth as our Savior Jesus Christ Does. Even so Simple that a Child can Understand. How Blessed are We to be Taught these Simple Truths. The Priesthood of God is the Greatest Gift Given to Mankind to Keep us Close to Heavenly Truths, Daily.

Chloe be of good cheer. personal revelation is real. and is very important to rely upon, it is from our Father in Heaven and It is personaly customized to you. you Father in Heaven knows you, your limitations, and your abilities. he teaches you the most important things you need. he strengthens you as you heed this revelation. THIS IS REAL i testify that as you let this revelation lead you, strengthen you then you will we a strong child of you father in heaven. when you pray for promptings, direction he will respond to your plea. then listen with your heart and mind. listen and when you feel peace, to not discount this inspiration. but trust it, do it then after you did it, then assess the task that you were counciled. you will be able to tap into a divine stream of power.

Don’t live in the past, help create the future. We will see lots of change as we work toward the coming of Christ. Tribulations are at hand. But we can thrive and prosper with the Holy Ghost! I went through really cruddy stuff as a teen and young adult. I eventually became a life coach and speaker all our tribals can be sanctified. Hang in there.

So true! The biggest blessing Ive received during this last year is exactly what President Nelson said, Ive been drawn closer to our Heavenly Father and our Savior! It was such an amazing experience to feel their presence more and also having peace and assuance that Heaveny Father has our backs.

There are times I get feeling down and or my anxiety starts to or does get the better of me. I do my best to be better with it all I just greatly miss my fiancée. Travel restrictions have kept us apart. We have not seen each other face to face for two years. We were supposed to get married last year. Heavenly Father has told us that we will see each other again and be together. Sorry, I just miss her so much!😭

"The future is bright for God's covenant-keeping people"
President Nelson reminds us the Power of The Priesthood is inseparably connected with the Powers of Heaven. “Not separate”. How can the Priesthood bless my family at home or a broad, inseparably.
What he means is that we have to stay close to God to access the power of the priesthood, which means access to God's power. When we choose to step away from our loving God, he withdraws his powers that he let us use, because we choose selfishness instead of using them to bless mankind. So in other words after the priesthood has been conferred upon us, if we choose to separate ourselves from God, he will remove the privileges we have been given in bearing the priesthood power.

Because of this time many have realized that constant attendance is not all that necessary for spiritual growth. Other activities are great for the family.
I have been so blessed during this time by the Come Follow Me curriculum and my testimony has been strengthened by my increased study of the scriptures and time with my family. I know the aloes has a purpose for all things. I truly missed being able to renew my baptismal covenants each week as I don’t have anyone to perform those ordinances for my family. I also missed fellowship with the Saints. The Lord has times and seasons for us to prepare. I pray we are using this time to prepare for the coming of our Lord.

I love and adore this Prophet...but I don't have the blessings in my life that he speaks about. Will those that have been very abused in life and suffer so much ever be spoken about? It is hard to always hear that which I have never had. It is physically painful to always hear about the blessings I "should have" had. 😪

I know this will sound so false and cringe Russell M Nelson is the reason I believe good Fathers exist. I always believed Heavenly Father was my Dad but he wasn’t with me and I didn’t understand why. I just wanted a live in Dad. Although now I see more closely his plan for us it was Russell M Nelson and a biography I read about him and his family and I not only sustain him as my Prophet but I sustain him in his most righteous calling. Fatherhood ❤

What was heavenly father thinking letting is all run wild down here! He must be so disappointed in us. But yeah ive learned u cant trust all ur brothers and not all of creation wants to serve the light. I imagine heaven is really gonna be alot more of this hell unless its just total seperation from the ones who couldn't endure. My family has a saying out of sight out of mind. This 2 masters teaching christ taught just makes a ton of sense as we live through what its like under his (satans) short leash.as for me and my house we will serve the lord. Ive also learned that his promises are sure and that every prophecy will be fullfilled. Ive learned to trust him and to let his love engulf me. Ive learned he is a loving, trusting, stern father and his house is a house of order a house of love a house of faith. This hinge point has been a great reminder to me of the importance of the prophet Joseph's life and mission. Ive grappled with hard questions and found peace and reassurance beyond description in these trying times. Ive learned to say let thy will be done and have faith in his plan. This has been an exciting and frightening time to be alive i am glad i have witnessed it and lived through it as long as he may allow. Ive learned we have no idea when he will come but he has made himself known to the inhabitants of the earth. I suspect the work will move along nicely when the all clear is given. I am anxious to be anxiously engaged in the work of salvation. I leave this with you all in the name of jesus christ amen. ❤🇺🇸
