A pressure regulator and a liquid separator are usually really cheap add-ons.

@@Liq38 I use what I assume is a similar electric blower, if not the same one. Thing works great, three strengths and easily rechargeable. More than strong enough for a keyboard or tower.
I have been using an old fashioned air compressor to blow the dust out of my keyboard and my PC for years. I take the PC back inside and immediately power on. NEVER had any issues with this method even though I don't have a liquid separator so yes, there is a tiny amount of moisture being blown onto the components. Meh, it's okay. Goop is the way to go. The best way is non-conductive solvent for a thorough cleaning, but the goop is the second best choice since it will not kick up dust, unlike brushes or vacuum.
My favorite way to clean is a strong air pressure hose outside and then vacuuming with a small brush nozzle to get whatever might have settled somewhere. But ofcourse most people dont have access to a generator and air pressure hose

In defence of the Oxo stuff: they're designed to be easy to grip for people with grip problems (arthritis, or nerve damage). So you're paying the ergonomic premium - but also they're usually pretty decent and durable.
The Oxo handheld retractable brush thing with the microfibre pad on the other end is actually great for laptops. Had one for a few years now and it keeps the screen and keyboard squeaky clean. The brush is soft by design so as not to damage laptop keys.
@@whalemonstre Have that one too and what people don't seem to mention about it is that those soft "nanobristles" actually swipe very fine dust out of screens way better than normal screen cleaning brushes. I tried out the Oxo when I got my monitor light bar and when I turned it one for the first time, realized that even though I brush my monitor on a daily basis, the very fine dust is still stuck on it which was very OCD triggering. To me, it's either one of those $.40 spray and wipe cleaners that Luke has, or the Oxo to clean it. Works all the time.

@@Brockzillagaming I know he hasn't stepped down just yet but he made the announcement and you could see he's physically happier and got spring in his step again
As it was with great satisfaction I watched Linus as a Japanese Meido maid cleaning stuff....here in Belgium we use something called a vacuum cleaner. Very easy and in every household 😂
A lot of cleaning wipes leave nasty, sticky, dust and grime collecting residue over time. It blew everyone’s mind when I looked up the specs of the “HP Washable” keyboards we had for over 5 years and found they were IP66 rated. Washed them with a soft brush in a sink, submerged, with soap, and they were ‘like new’ (minus physical wear). Still cleaning like that 10 years later!
Okay this was a great video but I also used it as motivation to clean my keyboard as a "play along". I can confirm that wet wipes and Linus' air blower thing are the best to use once a month. A stiff bristle brush would have been handy!
Having cats, that blower thingy (yes, I have one) is actually very useful removing cat hair both from the keyboard and the table. Not dirt or grime, of course, but it blows away hair easy enough.
I have the same blower for my work computer as well as some of the goopy stuff Linus started with. Both of them seem to do fairly well for cleaning in my use case.
I am a heavy user of cleaning gel, professionally. I use it for cleaning everything. Keyboards, fans, vents, laser printers...you name it. It's not good for ground in dirt but for dust and toner it works great. I clean my home keyboard about once a week and it keeps it very clean. It gets into nooks and grooves you would otherwise need a q-tip for. Worls great in the car as well. I like using if for laser printers because you can stick it in very smal spaces. Our shop also uses those blowers for light dust but for heavy dust nothing beats a combination of a 130psi compressor followed by the gel. Note, the gel will turn sticky and gross when it's used up. If it's like that new send it back. As for laptop cases, good old Windex and shop towels work great. I know people will argue and I don't care, lcd screens...half and half Windex and water, use a paper towel. Once done, water and a mili fiber cloth like you would use on a car, and also use another one to dry the display. It will look like new when you are done. I have been using this method for decades and it always works and has never damaged a single screen. Note, a mili fiber cloth is also referred to as a microfiber cloth but the loops in the cloth are larger. You buy them in a bunch and they come in different colours.
I think it would be interesting to see a video about what techniques (or combination of techniques) is the most effective for cleaning a variety of electronics without the "must be from aliexpress" limitation
Ooooh, I'd love that! I'm eyeing that goop, but I'm curious if it's quantifiably more useful for keyboard upkeep (the sides of my keys where wipes don't reach are definitely looking a bit scary.)
0:25 Careful, you will drive Yvonne mad.. Making Vance even having to think about eating off the KB could be considered abuse. Personally, I have a compressor (2HP) and the mickey mouse gimmick cleaners are useless compared to that. And for cleaning, I just take the whole thing apart and run the key caps and frames through the dishwasher and they come out looking pretty newish, and any coffee/food/'other' spills are sanitized. Compressor works on laptops and desktops too, just be sure to not spin up fans and generate back voltage; I stick a rod or something in them to keep them from spinning.
My God, that G710 was one hell of a keyboard back then. Really sad mine died. It was the one that got me really interested in keyboards, so yeah that costs me a lot of money now :x
Luke is such a prima donna. Those wipes are perfectly fine for use, they are not the ipa 70% ones and use a much lesser amount of alcohol, they would NOT "destroy" your monitor(hence the pictures Showing You you can....hmmm gotta be a clue right?i). This is the problem with most people nowadays no one READS anything(like how if he just looked at the front of the box for a second and READ it, he would have known they were wipes before being surprised by this). Drives me nuts when people cry/speak badly on shit they clearly are not fully educated/aware of. They are made in America and the company themselves are based out of Canada, again how hard is this to understand. It literally gives you their Canada address and read's "Made in America"(that doesnt mean the company has to be from here as well, holyshit). The mannerism's and things being said were cringe af too im sorry. Look i get it, "it's supposed to be all in fun".... think im getting to old for this kinda stuff, or just how i see this happening everywhere(the ignorance and people simply NOT reading directions/labels to understand things, it is unbelievable).
You got balls ill give ya that. Plan on an influx of 15yr old LTT fanboys to jump down your throat on this one lol. However i do have to agree on mostly everything you said lmfao. Your right about the Wipes. They have pretty much perfect reviews, so yea I dont think they would have 5star if these wipes were "destroying" monitors" lmfao. It seems the company makes two different kinds, and these particular one's they have are completely fine actually. I will also agree on how no-one simply reads directions or takes the time to understand a product or whatever anymore, they mostly just assume. See this more often nowadays where someone will take 30+ minutes to figure out their new product, when simply just sitting down and reading the manual for 5minutes would help you understand and explain everything. It like they dont wanna be told or something idk, but yea everything i buy i always make sure to read up and learn about even before its here, then the manual as well when i get it. The "are they from Canada or America" thing i feel was just them fooling around, but maybe not. Again just like you explained, it's not hard to understand they are Canadian company but the product is being made in USA.
@@erictaylor1867 lol thanks man. The Oxo handheld retractable brush thing with the microfibre pad on the other end is actually great for laptops. Had one for a few years now and it keeps the screen and keyboard squeaky clean. The brush is soft by design so as not to damage laptop keys.
Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the brand generally, well-designed tools for the kitchen especially that in my experience have held up to justify the premium.
This… accessibility
@@whalemonstre Have that one too and what people don't seem to mention about it is that those soft "nanobristles" actually swipe very fine dust out of screens way better than normal screen cleaning brushes. I tried out the Oxo when I got my monitor light bar and when I turned it one for the first time, realized that even though I brush my monitor on a daily basis, the very fine dust is still stuck on it which was very OCD triggering. To me, it's either one of those $.40 spray and wipe cleaners that Luke has, or the Oxo to clean it. Works all the time.
"full blast on my face"
Linus and Luke back at it again. Just like old times.
Nice to see Linus back to full force in the type of videos that got him to where he is!
Like and him are like buddies that supposed to do well together
These guys have such a great chemistry, they should do a podcast
I love seeing Luke on screen with Linus. So great to see them both outside of WAN show.
Linus just completely broke Luke with the jokes and it's so nice to see Linus having more fun in videos, honestly taking a step back from management and being more on camera was a great move
He hasn't stepped back yet, he is still weeks out from stepping down from CEO. Plus this video would've been filmed a few weeks ago as well.
True... But maybe making the announcement public and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel could have put a spring in his step about creating the content and engaging with it, kind of getting a head start on his future position in a way.
@@Brockzillagaming I know he hasn't stepped down just yet but he made the announcement and you could see he's physically happier and got spring in his step again
@@Brockzillagaming
From what he said, while he still CEO up to this point, the new guy was already contracted to do the job in a provisional basis.
Luke should be in more videos him and Linus are so natural together
You should definitely put Luke and the costume on the thumbnail and this video would be an extreme success
As it was with great satisfaction I watched Linus as a Japanese Meido maid cleaning stuff....here in Belgium we use something called a vacuum cleaner. Very easy and in every household 😂
maid linus is the thing I needed in my life without knowing it
Not sure if its just me but i love seeing Luke and Linus doing episodes together other then the weekly WAN Show
So good to see luke and linus in a video that's not just wan show.
Anime Luke at the end!! 😂 I'm crying!!!!!!!!! So glad to see Luke in a video again and it's just pure banter with Linus. 10/10 video
Seeing Linus in fishnets wasn't on my bingo card for 2023 but here we are.
Clearly Linus got jealous when AMD bought Yvonne a new dress
He is looking cute with the cap on the cap
Id love to see smaller versions of challenges like this on the wan show this episode was hilarious (and Informative)
Okay this was a great video but I also used it as motivation to clean my keyboard as a "play along". I can confirm that wet wipes and Linus' air blower thing are the best to use once a month. A stiff bristle brush would have been handy!
Linus in a cleaning lady outfit with the spritzer "ooh that's a really fine mist" is just *chef's kiss*.
The laptop's hinge pretty much dismantling lol 19:00
Having cats, that blower thingy (yes, I have one) is actually very useful removing cat hair both from the keyboard and the table. Not dirt or grime, of course, but it blows away hair easy enough.
I have the same blower for my work computer as well as some of the goopy stuff Linus started with. Both of them seem to do fairly well for cleaning in my use case.
Thanks for all the hard work and content you guys do, it's really appreciated.

Great seeing Luke again. Makes me long for scrapyard wars to see who can out cheat the other.
Linus: This is my keyboard, but I'll wear gloves for the other things
Also Linus: no gloves for the rest of the video
8:28 a reminder that Linus built this company from the ground up, majority owner, and is a multimillionaire.
Luke: "Wow, that's an enthusiastic little tool"
Linus: " 😏 That's not the first time I've been called that."
Lmao 😂😂😂
18:55 i love how linus broke the laptop as he closed it XD
it already was broken before
14:19 I was NOT ready to see Linus in fishnets today
But r u ready 2 see leenus on fake boobs?
watch?v=TkF_OiBvnLg
It seems like Luke never actually knows when the final sponsor segway will come.. it's so cute ❤️
The version of linus that we have always wanted
22:19 *holds up round brush* "This could be a LOT of fun I" UUF the innuendo....I LOST IT ! :)))))))
The fact that you ised my EXACT monitor and my EXACT laptop made me feel funny 😂
If this was the first LTT video i ever saw, not knowing the whole story, I would honestly think that Luke and Linus make such a cute couple!
Luke didn't know what he was getting himself into.... 🤣🤣🤣
You know you are getting good stuff when luke and linus is together
OXO actually makes pretty decent kitchen tools and gadgets but I didn’t know they had pc stuff
And the oxo product they didn't use works well on keyboards and cleaning up tablet and laptop screens.
My God, that G710 was one hell of a keyboard back then. Really sad mine died. It was the one that got me really interested in keyboards, so yeah that costs me a lot of money now :x
When his kids are older and more aware of his shenanigans…linus is gonna be that dad that embarrasses them for the laughs >
You're saying he isn't already?
@@Metal_Maxine Theyre not fully aware yet haha
"You have choose unwisely". Such a good reference 😂😂😂
Yo that costume change transition is sick
It's really nice & fun to see both Linus and Luke have fun in a video
Petition to bring back scrapyard wars!
Oh yea and im still hung up on why they just didnt call the video ....products from "AMAZON" since every single link to the product was from Amazon and not Aliexpress. Is there some youtube regulation stating your not allowed to list Aliexpress sites? lmfao so weird....
Luke completely just YOLOing that spray on the Xbox.
I love that you both have the legendary Logitech G710+ keyboard from back in the day.
The fact that Linus wore the maid outfit the entire time 💀
Linus got me acting unwise 🥵

Imagine seeing your boss in such an outfit being all happy and serious.
XD Linus is such a good sport and together with Luke :D
Ty for the laugh and nice video!
First we get Yvonne and Linus and now Luke and Linus back to back. Truely we are blessed.
Linus is KILLING it in the videos lately.
love linus is always an amazing creator and that you will never find anyone else like him
we love emily
We love luke and linus. More of this duo again!
I REALLY enjoyed this 😆 Thank you so much everyone involved in this!
So this is Linus' vision for LMG as the new Chief Vision Officer and I am all for it
Linus has fully embraced his role as no longer "Head of Overall Serious Business" and embraced whatever the heck his new role was called again. I promise you that title did NOT adequately convey that THIS was the direction Linus's was heading in 🤣❤
24:50 Carry Minati from AliExpress

It's good to see such a happy couple, doing what they love
3:51 y'all forgot to censor Linus :))
