Kyoto looks similar as Seoul palaces. I heard that Ancient Korea hands over lots of culture to Japan. So the structure is very similar as KyungJu and Seoul of Korea.
I'm so much in love with Japan..I admire Japan and Japanese people..they are so respectful towards others.. would definitely visit Japan one day.. love from India 😘😘😘😘😘
I was there last year (April 2015). It was my dream destination and my parents made it possible. I did almost all the things in this video and I can say : Kyoto is amazing. Very crowded but breathtaking and it is worth it
Kyoto is one of the most beautiful city which I traveled in Japan. Everything is true in this video. However, I didn't visit to Bamboo Forest. It was a pity. I didn't say goodbye to Japan because people said that: "If you say goodbye to sth or someone, it means you won't come back". So I decided not to say it. See you again, Japan - my dream country. From Vietnam !
De dónde eres exactamente amiguita, quisiera que me des una explicación. Eres exactamente de la misma ciudad de Japón...??? Y dónde queda exactamente Vietnam, me gustaría saber tu respuesta te lo voy agradecer gracias 🙏

After a quick visit to Kyoto, I was impressed by the beautiful and artistic architecture of the shrines and temples. The Japanese garden left me an idyllic feeling with the greens and colourful flowers. When I came to Kyoto Station, I could not helping praising this wonderful giant architectural work. Kyoto is the city that combines tradition and modernity. I think I will come back again for an in-depth tour.
Japan was the first country I went to outside of the US. I was 19. Changed my life. Kyoto was a big part of this. This was a lovely video Expedia, well done.
I am a Japanese living in Tokai area, which is not far away from Kyoto. This video shows us incredibly beautiful Kyoto and traditional Japanese culture. Thank you for making such a beautiful video. I visited Kyoto several times, but, after watching this video, I want to go to Kyoto again.
I am SOOOOOO much into it. I love everything about Japan. Culture, food, history, religion, and last but not least Japans beautiful woman, and food of course. Did I mention food already? Sushi, Okonomiyaki, Onigiri, Gyoza, Donburi, Oden, Shabu shabu, Yakitori, Yakisoba, Takoyaki and much more. And woman. Japanese food, japanese woman and warm sake. I do not need more to be happy. Greetings from Germany.
I am going to Japan in two weeks. Originally, I wanted to go to Kyoto just see the bamboo forest and monkeys :) But now I guess I'll spend more time there.
Prajwal Chapagai Yes, I was not aware Expedia had its own channel with travel videos. They are a helpful quick look at what each destination can offer. You wrote Kyoto is heaven, have you been there? I am asking as I am heading to Japan soon.
I just came back from Kyoto Yesterday and it was love at First Sight. I saw this video 7 years ago and started dreaming about going to Kyoto since then. Thanks for inspiring me to visit this beautiful place full of zen gardens, temples and traditional living style.

If you plan to come to Kyoto, we recommend you to avoid the summer season because it is too hot. It is so hot as the fire oven in summer. If you come to Kyoto in summer we recommend to walk there naked or in swim suit.
+minitwitter what is hot? 30°? 40°? maybe 45° is hot for me but i still enjoy it. and oh, i love to walk around only in shorts. what about tourists in summer? more or less?
+Drunken Pirate Thank you for your attention. It will be 35~38° in the hottest season about July 15~August 10. Due to high humidity you will feel much more than that. I recommend you hot pants and bikini suits in summer.
minitwitter thats fine, i have been in turkey and the humidity is high too in the city "antalya". it was around 43° and i loved it. i plan to fly to okinawa then later visit kyoto and the cities on the way. i just need to know how expensive travelling in japan is - like train and stuff
Para mori How was Kyoto? I am off to Japan on the 22nd of April - I rented a micro camper van and will be driving all over the country, recording my journey for my channel. It's a bit of a drive, but I have 22 days for it.
