By the way, everyone, it does say on Mitzi's character page that she has buttery, sugar coated Southern charm so I suppose the voice makes sense. Could have been toned down a little bit but it's not bad at all.
Or perhaps it was spot on.
Ivy's voice is just wonderful. And I don't know why people are complaining about Mitzi's voice, she sounds like a number of southern Bells it has been my fortune, and sometimes misfortune, to meet.
I really like Rocky's poem :) It's so good that it's hard to say
I remember summing it up by the last part of the poem to some friends, and it's really hard to say: "in the rogueishly and gupsy waters, roaming fast and free.. ...It's your real name, Mississippi"
(Edit: I managed to finish that, and I felt pround of myself. Also joke time! Same name, but a twist;).. Here's a joke! Which river who has 4 eyes, but cannot see? Haha, Mississippi!:))

8:07 - 9:26 How do you feel about Rocky's poem being possibly THE START of the animated Lackadaisy short film when it debuts in March 2023, which is in about a month from now?

Hearing that Old Man River poem here after watching the animated pilot had me like "He's saying the poem OMG". That poem is now goated
I melted at Ivy's voice. She's perfect!
Also anybody notice Rocky has some sort of New Yorken/southern accent? I kinda always imagined him with no accent. It kinda adds to the fact that he's pretty articulate and smart.
It keeps shifting between New Jersey and Boston.

Rocky seems like he’d make a talented poet/songwriter.
This is addictive. I love the philosophy of despair that Mitzi delivers - business is so depressing - the obituaries are funnier....' or Lacy - 'a scruffy sort of apology for a hoodlum.....' This is my sort of humour.
why i haven't found you 8 years ago when started reading the comic? this is an amazing work and predicted a lot of the voices from the pilot and the future serie. Congrats for that
also that boi is the single most scatterbrained thing I've ever heard of and I love him but I have no idea what he's getting at like ever.... IMBIBE
This web comic is definitely a surprise of entertainment to be sure. Also Ivy is an adorable cat.

On a side note. Anyone else think Rocky might just have a bit of a major meltdown if he ever realizes that Mitzy really cares so little for him?

I think he already knows. Afterall, he states that he’s in a place where people “tolerate” him, not that they care. I think he’s smart enough to already know

Rocky is crazy enough for everybody
in my personal opinion , Mitzi May's voice should be a bit more high pitched and snobbish(well done with the accent though!), and Will should have a younger voice to fit his young awkwardness and flirtatiousness for Mitzi. like someone in his late twenties or early thirties. Just started listening to this, so I'm excited to hear how Zib and Mordecai turn out! btw, well done with Victor and Ivy, both are very fitting!

Ive seen the other dub, it was pretty good but the sound quality distracted me, and they left a lot of story out.

Very well done and voiced and edited expertly. I can't help but find it a little dry, that might be a combination of not having background music and the art styles coloring. None the less that's my opinion.
Ivy kind of sounds like Twilight Sparkle.
