Fun fact: The old upper deck structure, before they remodeled and made it strong, houses the student section. They moved them to the endzone and the lower section because they made it sway way to much. There's old video floating around of how much those decks really could sway and it's pretty terrifying.
That's not the full story, Louie Louie was denied getting played in the stadium because students/everyone would sway back and forth while singing the song. The swaying was ultimately because of Louie Louie.
Historical note.. The upper deck on the west side of the stadium was done in the 70’s and the east side was done in the early 1980’s. The massive light truss’s even to this day look very modern.. My opinion is those truss’s were taylor made for this LED technology. Looks way cool!!!

Agreed. The atmosphere of a college game especially if it's an epic rivalry is beyond something else I just can't feel with the NFL.
